Mike: Took to the Alaskan Airways to inform the planet of all the horrors that are being visited upon the State of Alaska as result of climate change, as a result of global warming. The Alaskan people have never seen a glacier melt before. [mocking Obama] “Go look over there. There’s a glacier, all around us, collapsing into the sea. Glaciers melting everywhere. There’s climate change. Anyone that won’t rename a mountain to do something about this is not worthy of being a leader.” I like to talk about these things from time to time, so I went and visited my friend Mark Morano’s blog, Climate Depot, and I knew I would find something there and of course I was not disappointed, about Mount Denali and about the Alaskan climate.
We have this digital media file today. We have two minutes of this wonderful stuff, of the horrors that await us if we don’t agree to be taxed and limit our output of carbon. This has to be one of the greatest, most obscene scams in the history of great, obscene scams. Carbon. Carbon, the building block of life. [mocking Obama] “We got to limit carbon emissions.” Why? Nature doesn’t limit carbon emissions. Why should we? By the bye, this man-made catastrophic global warming as a result of climate change can be explained away or can be accounted for not by using scientific method, although you can, and using the historical record, but by using the philosophical method. The philosophia perennis of this says that we’re not creating any new elements. There’s no additional elemental matter being created. Its substantive form may change but it’s not being created. In other words, the carbon is already there, is the point.
Here’s the headline. I just thought I’d share this. Why don’t you queue up digital media file number 5A just for poops and giggles. Let’s play that first and then we’ll listen along at home.

President Obama: The fact is that the climate is changing faster than our efforts to address it. That, ladies and gentlemen, must change. We are not acting fast enough.

Mike: Stop the digital — I can’t take it already. Stop it. Pause it, please. The fact of the matter is that the climate is changing and that must change. The statement that implies that man can stop the climate from changing, really? How? He’s talking about changing the climate while saying that the climate changing must stop. Am I the only one that – back that up again. I have to hear that again. My philosophical brain must sample this conundrum or this syllogism, fake syllogism, once again. Play it again from the top, please.

Mike: The climate is changing faster than our efforts to change it and that must change. So the implication is that we can halt the climate change. We just have to address it faster. Let’s break that one down and unpack it for a moment. Does that mean while I’m writing out bills for climate change, if I write them faster, then the climate will be changed or will be prevented from changing faster? Is that what that means? Does that mean while I’m running in between Boehner and McConnell’s office, if I run faster then I’m addressing climate change? What if we have printers that are printing the bills out that are going to change the climate faster?
