Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – Just when you thought it was safe to turn the TV back on, maybe watch a little bit of news, and maybe even consider that for just a moment that John McCain is sane — I know this is not something that many of you are going to partake of, which is the consideration or holding the thought in your head that McCain is actually sane, and I say that in jest.  You have to wonder, ladies and gentlemen, from time to time, as I have to wonder and I do wonder, just how crazy some of the official faces and names that call themselves senators and members of the House of Representin’ inside Mordor on the Potomac River, just how insane they may be.  Check out today’s transcript for the rest…

Mike:  Just when you thought it was safe to turn the TV back on, maybe watch a little bit of news, and maybe even consider that for just a moment that John McCain is sane — I know this is not something that many of you are going to partake of, which is the consideration or holding the thought in your head that McCain is actually sane, and I say that in jest.  You have to wonder, ladies and gentlemen, from time to time, as I have to wonder and I do wonder, just how crazy some of the official faces and names that call themselves senators and members of the House of Representin’ inside Mordor on the Potomac River, just how insane they may be.

Here’s another question for you to ponder: Just how stupid do they think we are or just how stupid do they think the rest of the known universe is?  You’d have to have crawled underneath a very large boulder, probably one about the size of that one that’s underneath that billboard sign in the GEICO caveman commercial.  You’d have to have crawled under a rock about that size to not know that there are machinations going on inside the ancient state of Egypt that are violent and that are unpredictable.  You’d also have to know that maybe I don’t really want to get involved in that because these people seem like they’re kind of cuckoo.  They’re just a little bit nuts.

road-to-independence-BH-RTIDE2-detailIf you knew this and you knew the history of the jihadi lunatics that are running around Tahrir Square, if you knew that Coptic Christians are on the run there, fearing for their lives and many of their lives have already been taken in martyrdom, if you knew all of these things, if you knew that Al Qaeda and other assorted terrorist groups, including, by their own acknowledgement, the Muslim Brotherhood are fighting for the lion’s share for control of power in that most ancient of all lands, would it be prudent for you to give them fighter jets made by the United States?  You want to talk about just naked, blind, ambitious corporatism, and this is deadly, naked, blind, ambitious corporatism, then here you go.

Here’s the headline, “US sends 4 more F-16s to Egypt, despite Cairo tumult.”  If you’re driving around out there right now and you just heard me announce that, or maybe you heard it on Fox News or Blaze or somewhere else before and that doesn’t make your blood boil, I would like for you to call me and inform me what will make your blood boil.  Not only should this make you, from a perspective that this is just unbelievably, inconceivably wasteful, what about inconceivably stupid?  What about inconceivably dangerous?  You’re going to put F-16 fighter jets into the hands or near the hands of the lunatics that by all accounts are now struggling for power in Egypt?

Mike Church Show Transcript – Caller Aaron Discusses Waste, Fraud And Abuse In The Military

There’s a building body of evidence that says that the government of the United States in its foreign affairs seems determined and hell bent to do everything that it can do to cleanse or remove from the ancient, holy lands all forms or remnants of Christianity and Christians.  This is just another one of these slaps in the face.  Here’s the story.  I read this and just think to myself: This isn’t happening, man!  Apparently it is…

Four more F-16 fighter jets are slated for delivery to Egypt’s military as part of a U.S. foreign aid package that is apparently unaffected by the army’s overthrow of the North African nation’s president last week.

Mike:  Even if they did have a stable government there and a stable present, I’d ask the question: Exactly why are you giving F-16s away?  I kind of had to drive to work at 3:15 this morning so I could have withholding taxes taken from me so that you could hire defense contractors to pay for those things, yet you’re telling me there’s not a nickel you can cut.  [mocking] “Our nation’s defense depends on the continued level of Pentagon and defense spending.”  Oh, really?  Does that include these F-16s?  Did the people that built these things at Northrup Grumman or Lockheed Martin or Boeing or whoever the hell builds an F-16 — and I don’t know — have they donated any of their time to the wonderful cause of Egyptian statehood or are they profiting mightily from this?

“There is no current change in the plan to deliver F-16s to the Egyptian military,” one U.S. official told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity.

[end reading]

Mike:  We might as well just cut the middle man out here and find out where there’s an Al Qaeda base being built somewhere in North Africa and just drop the planes off there.  That would be a lot easier than having to make the jihadis kill tens of thousands of Christians or tens of thousands of other Egyptians that might not be Christians to get to them, wouldn’t it?  We’d be sparing human lives at least, wouldn’t we?

The jets will likely be delivered in August, with eight more to be sent in December.

Mike:  Reuters makes this sound as though somebody is sitting around in the capitol or somewhere in Egypt and they’re shopping at the U.S. military’s version of Amazon.com.  [mocking] “Wait a minute, I’m an Amazon Super Saver customer.  You said you’d ship those F-16s free.  I got free shipping for being a super customer, and I want them in August.”  Listen to this.  If this isn’t insane, I don’t know what is.  If this won’t convert you to a noninterventionist foreign policy, I don’t know what will.  Just like yesterday’s program I quit in the first hour of the show trying to convince some people of certain things.  I would quit over this.

The aid package, which also includes a total of 20 of the planes, plus some 200 Abrams tanks . . .

[end reading]

Mike:  What do we need to be giving the Egyptian army Abrams tanks for?  Those of you that work in the defense contractor industry, can you answer a question for me?  Do we build failsafes into these things?  Send me an email kingdude@mikechurch.com.  When I mean failsafe, I mean if you give them this plane and they’re chasing one of our jets around or they’re flying it over the Mediterranean and they see one of our oil tankers or one of our commercial ship liners out there hauling cargo loaded with container cars and they’re about to drop ordnances on it or whatever, can we disable, can the manufacturer disable the plane?  Can you disable the tank if it’s to be used for nefarious purposes?  I’m just curious.

Sidebar_ad_Secede_die_baseball_capThe foreign aid deal was signed in 2010, when Hosni Mubarak was Egypt’s president.

“At this point, we don’t know where Egypt is headed,” Rep. Mac Thornberry, (R-Texas), vice chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, told FoxNews.com at the time. “We should be cautious about driving them away, but we should also be cautious about the arms we provide.”

[end reading]

Mike:  Representative Thornberry, who’s we?  I didn’t get a vote in this.  Who’s we?  Isn’t it amazing you and I are a threat to humanity if we go off to an Academy Sporting Goods looking for some kind of a semiautomatic weapon or a long-range hunting rifle or a handgun that has capacity to hold more than nine rounds in it, we’re a threat to every human being on the face of the planet?  We’re accused before you can even buy the weapon.  [mocking] “We’ve got to protect because you might go out there and shoot some children.”  Yeah, we’re a bunch of children hunters.  You can’t have weapons, but Egyptian madmen, give them a tank.  Nah, give them 200 tanks.  Give them a plane.  Nah, give them 20 planes.  This is just insanity, insanity!
