Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – The act and action and activity of marriage is becoming less and less of a solemn act, solemn meaning you don’t break it. You do everything that you have to do or that you can or must do to avoid breaking it. That is just not the way it is viewed today. It is not the opinion of the majority of people, and that’s because we have become a secular people, by and large. Those considerations don’t matter. This is really just, t….Continue
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – Let me be clear. I am not a proponent of and I think it’s heinous that the State of Maryland would ban or try to interfere with its citizens protecting themselves outside of their homes by carrying their weapons with them. Here in Louisiana, your automobile is an extension of your home. If you want to bring your weapon with you and you’re carrying it in your car, you’re basically carrying it in ….Continue
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – The female in the classical, biological sense of the word ultimately is receiving welfare, and she used to receive welfare from the husband, the spouse, the male. Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – This is a very dangerous thing that we have done. We are flirting with disaster. We are flirting with human misery. We are not the exception to the rule of human nature, sir. We are humans. We are fallible. Human nature does not change over continents. In our arrogance and saying things like you just said, we make ourselves “We’re the exception. We would never rain that kind of tyranny.” S….Continue
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – I guess the point of the exercise is that we have all manner of extravagance and we live a very posh, gilded lifestyle here, while those people that you’re talking about are suffering in the third world. If you think that is something that needs to stop and that is your calling, it’s not your government’s job to do that. It’s your job to do that. Check out today’s audio and transcript for the rest…….Continue
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – We do know that since 9/11 over 3,000 young enlisted men and women have taken their lives as have over 6,500 veterans. The VA reports that since it launched a “suicide hotline” in 2007 it has fielded over 650,000 phone calls and performed over 23,000 “life-saving rescues.” All this has happened while the United States military remains deployed around the globe and the numbers of “terrorists” ….Continue
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – I take great comfort in knowing, too, that during this week when you and I are reminiscing and recalling what part of the ten years you may recall, the good times and memories, and of course the bad, we should have heated conversations. That’s what we do here on this show. We do not swim with the sharks. We have our own stream that we swim in. That’s why we unplug the matrix cable out of the back of our heads. That’s why w….Continue
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – Doesn’t this stuff just irk you? It ought to irk you. Why does the nation have a gun background check system? We’re not in a time of war. The militia hasn’t been called out. What business is it of the nation what the people in the sovereign states are doing with their Rugers, with their Howitzers, with their Smith & Wessons, with their Colt 45s or whatever the case may be? Check out today’s audio and transcript for the ….Continue
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – Are they going to have soda police in New York? What is the penalty for violating this act of soda tyranny? They ought to have the New York Soda Party. They ought to find out where Bloomberg is going to be sailing his Bloomberg yacht out on the Hudson and dump 10,000 gallons of soda into the harbor, call it the New York Soda Party. Check out today’s audio and transcript for the rest…….Continue
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – It’s kind of like saying harnessing the knowledge and the technological expertise that it took to be able to split an atom yielded medical breakthroughs that would have previously been impossible. Splitting the atom and radioactive isotopes and using them leads to all manners of chemotherapies and treatments for cancers, all sorts of nifty things that we have learned after being able to split the atom. It also led to being able t….Continue

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – I think a little humble pride in the actions of your junior senator is appropriate at the moment. Of course, I’m lauding him for his actions as well. I’ve been critical of Senator Paul and will continue to be so. This won’t make me drop my guard. I was heartened by what he said. Check out today’s audio and transcript for the rest…….Continue
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – We now have reached the juncture in our concurrent evolution as citizens where one of the functions of our government is to kill our own citizenry? Really? Every government has to do that. There are loose cannons in every country out there. Of course governments have to have assassination power. Why? What on Earth could possibly make a citizen commit so grave of a crime that it become necessary to assassinate he or she? Check ….Continue
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – We’re not a free people anymore. When we’re told to stop, we stop. Think about this. No, I’m not trying to get into the philosophical weeds. Who told you that you have to stop at a red light and that you must go on green? You may think that’s ridiculous. Think about it. Who told you that? We’ve normalized the stop and go. We’ve normalized it to the point where we have accepted that o….Continue
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – The difference between Wal-Mart and the United States Department of Agriculture is because you think, you’ve been sold and told, that the USDA is an inherent good, it does good things because it’s government and because it’s agency and because it’s public, because it only exists for you. It’s just here for you. It’s here to help you. Check out today’s audio and transcript for the rest…….Continue
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – Money is not transcendent. I’m not so naïve to think you don’t need it and some manner of wealth in order to survive, or in some instances in order to share it with those who may be temporarily or permanently less fortunate, is a good thing. Without that Transcendent there, all these things that are based solely in dollar signs and dollar amounts are fleeting. They don’t last. Such is our government. Check out today’s t….Continue
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – This brings up and shows just how out of kilter and out of whack the entire process is and how it is basically impossible to do what you just said you want to do. All we have to do is look at Arizona, Texas, and Alabama as recent examples. You can’t go after the employer because a federal court will interdict and say you’re violating their constitutional rights, whatever the hell that is, or that y….Continue

Was Secession A Constitutional Right? 1868 Book Concluded It Was. "It was in 1833, for the frst time in the history of the country, that it was solemnly asserted and argued, that the Constitution of the 'United States was not a compact between the States. This new doctrine simultaneously put forth, by Mr. Justice Story in his "Commentaries on the Constitution of the 'United States," and by Mr. Daniel Webster in "the greatest intellectual effort of his life," that is, in his great speech in the Senate of the I6th of February, 1833. In order to show that the Constitution is not a compact between the States, the position is assumed, that it is not a compact at all. If it be a compact, say they, then the States had a right to secede. But it is not a compact; and hence secession is treason and rebellion. The great fundamental questions, then, on which the whole controversy hinges are, first, Is the Constitution a compact? and, secondly, Is it a compact between the States?" - Albert Bledsoe, Was Secession A Constitutional Right (1868)
