Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript I do not believe that you can “fix this” because the “this” that you’re dealing with is going to resist being fixed.  It currently outnumbers you.  Besides that, the “this” is, by and large, despite the loudmouths that love to say that they oppose all this, they really don’t.  We sheepishly and meekly go along with all this.  We continue participating materially and complicitly in the evil that surrounds us without doing much to stop it.  Check out today’s transcript for the rest….

Mike:  What does the new Steve wish to discuss?

Caller Steve:  I just think that the constant media promotion of the Democratic Party, of the liberal agenda — advertising is a strong thing.  When you have ABC, CBS, MSNBC and all the rest of it constantly saying the same thing, it’s hard to overcome the facts.  They won’t cover your side of the story, if you will.  Reagan was able to do it to a certain point, but I think we’re in a new era now.  I’m just curious, how do you fix this in a larger term where you even the playing field, where this pendulum, which has swung so far to the left, can actually return to sanity and come back a little more to the middle, if you will?

Mike:  I do not believe that you can “fix this” because the “this” that you’re dealing with is going to resist being fixed. Complaining on the Twitter feed or on Facebook or on email or in message forms and all that is not the same thing as actually doing something about it.

If you’re talking about fixing this, we are overrun and surrounded by and possessed by a culture that has, at its — you’re asking what Obama’s endgame is.  Let me tell you what the culture’s endgame is.  It’s called death.  Hopefully it’s called death before any of us will wise up, heed the words of our Lord, and seek some salvation to try and save our immortal souls.  If you say that in a public square, the next thing you know you’re going to be treated — trust me, I’m beginning to realize this — you’ll be treated then as some sort of heretic from the Salem era that needs to be burned at the stake.  [mocking] “No, we mean real solutions.”  If Almighty God is not a real solution, then I can’t help you, brother.

I don’t know how to answer the question other than to say that the path that we’re on is so far removed — if we look back in the rearview mirror, the former way is so far in the rearview mirror that it is completely out of sight.  If you try and grab a telescope and force someone’s eyeball onto the telescope lens: See that?  We can go that way.  [mocking] “Nah, man, no, Obama’s got to go to jail.  It’s all his fault!”  It’s not all Obama’s fault, it is not.  This did not occur in the last five years.  This is hundreds of years in the making.  In this country it’s at least 150 years in the making.  But go ahead and fixate on locking Obama up in prisons.  Not to say that he shouldn’t be impeached, because he should, and so should a significant portion of his cabinet, but pursuing and believing that there is a remedy that is at hand that is going to come from the political system, I think, is just fantastical, ridiculous.  Purge yourself of the notion.

Caller Steve:  But accountability, I think, is what some people are looking for.  Yes, I understand your argument but —

Mike:  Okay, accountability to who?

Caller Steve:  To the laws of this country.

Mike:  And the laws of this country are accountable to who?

Caller Steve:  The people of this country.[/private]

Mike:  No, they are subordinate to what?

Caller Steve:  The Constitution.

Mike:  Here’s the problem.  You called me and asked me for a solution, so I’m trying to give it to you.  The Constitution is subordinate to what?

Caller Steve:  Just run with it because —

Mike:  No, I can’t run with it.  No, running with it means that I keep running in circles and chasing my tail.  This is a recipe for a life of disappointment, for a life of dissatisfaction.  It is because the view is that the Constitution is not subordinate to anything.  There is no subsidiarity.  That is law.  That is a creation of man.  Go ahead and prescribe to it.  Then you’re going to leave it up to the evil and despicable definitions that man is going to apply to it for their own gain, to gain an advantage, or, even worse, to gain an advantage for Him, the evil.  So you identified the problem.  I could have predicted this.  Just as I said, I’ll give you some thoughts on it but, [mocking] “No, I mean a real solution.”
