Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Video and Audio - Steve Doocy, one third of the collective mind on Fox and Friends in the morning, manages to ask Chris Christie one of the dumbest questions you could ask a Governor of a state who is dealing with a natural disaster of this scale.... he asks him about what the Presidential Candidates are doing, and Christie responds appropriately. But then, right after that, Christie (who has been supporting Romney) praises the job Obama has been doing and thanks him for declaring New Jersey a state of emergency so they can get federal relief faster. Wha, What? Christie is going to have to go back to his NeoCon hole until after the election because he is absolutely going to get called out on this. I wish we get in the habit of not referring to those we elect as,OUR LEADERS. They are our employees, short term I hope.
While I am at it, in it not about time that we quit hyphenating Americans, such as German Americans, Jewish Americans, African Americans, Polish Americans. Are we who are Americans, Americans, period? Just like a women being pregnant who declares she is a little bit pregnant. Come on, either she is pregnant or not. Ergo, either you are or are not an American.
Dump the hyphen!
The most telling point, is the total lack of faith that government and it's leaders have in the inhabitants and the inhabitants of their sister States to lend aid in a tragic event.
Gov. Christie was quick to bash Obama when "his" team would control the flow, now that we don't care any teat will suffice.
This would be the perfect scenario to show it is not FEMA and the Feds who will save us but ourselves that have real empathy and show care of our brothers and sisters.
