Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Video and Audio – In most states, continuing education is required by law for many professions… Doctors for example need to be educated about the latest drugs. So why aren’t our educators required to do this? And we’re not saying that this should be administered by the state, not at all. But shouldn’t the people educating our youth be up to date on the latest technologies, teaching methods, etc.? And what has happened to teaching the classics in school? Now again, we’re not talking about Harry Potter or even To Kill A Mockingbird (a modern classic, yes) but true classics like Homer’s The Odyssey and The Iliad. They have been pushed to the side in favor of “what is popular”, well, how about doing “what is right”? For more on this be sure and check out today’s Founders TV and sign up for a Founders Pass if you haven’t already!
