Who Is Mike Church?  A man, a myth and a machine of clear Constitutional thought.

An author, filmmaker and singer/songwriter, Mike uses facts to promote the singular notion that in order to save our future,
we must look back to the principles our beloved union was founded upon.

Mike also has a habit of using brilliant parody songs to make a serious political point. Conservative themed hits such as "Manuel Went Down To Georgia," "There's Democrats Somewhere" and "Obama," a take on the Toto classic, "Rosanna" are perennial favorites.  But more recent offerings include “Mr. Jefferson,” a song that went on to become a smash on YouTube. Mike’s rendition of the Simon & Garfunkel classic, “Mrs. Robinson,” “Mr. Jefferson” racked up nearly 200,000 views on YouTube.com – in the first week of release alone. The clip was on its way to becoming viral before it got banned from YouTube for reasons the site has never been able to explain.  Still, Mike’s message couldn’t be silenced as it became the theme song for hundreds of “Tax Day Tea Party” events across the country in 2009. Mike  is also the author, producer, a voice talent behind the heralded documentaries: "Road to Independence" (the story of the Declaration of Independence) and "The Fame of Our Fathers: How Immortality Inspired Our Constitution;" and “The Spirit of ’76.”  The third in the series, “Spirit” is also the first feature-length film from Church’s Founding Father Films company.

The Mike Church Show is the first ever produced talk show on Sirius Satellite Radio.

A radio talk show host, author, filmmaker, and singer/songwriter, Mike Church is best known for his fearless ability to skewer liberalism and the people that practice it with the in-depth conservative analysis that only he can provide.  Church has been included on the Askmen.com list of "Top Ten Shock Jocks in America" and his devoted fans know him best as "The King Dude." States' Rights?  What are those?  Quite simply, the Constitution wasn’t designed so that states and people would serve the federal government.  In fact, the federal government only exists because of the power the people and the states have provided.  Essentially, the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States served as the ultimate check and balance to prevent the federal government from stepping into state business and further, that any state can reject a federal mandate.  For Mike Church, educating the masses has become a mission.  A passionate supporter of states‘ rights legislation, NO OTHER BROADCAST PERSONALITY HAS DONE MORE to promote the people in this movement.  Mike has hosted more legislators and activists within the movement than anyone else in the broadcast media.  And yes, you can fact check that. Speaking of facts, did you know that Mike Church is actually the creator of the Refounding Fathers Society?  While other broadcast personalities have tried to take the title, it cannot be denied that Mike raised the rallying cry back in April 2008. Not in September of 2009 like other folks in the media.

Mike Church is also the author, producer, and voice talent behind the heralded documentaries: "Road to Independence" (the story of the Declaration of Independence) and "The Fame of Our Fathers: How Immortality Inspired Our Constitution."  He recently scored a trifecta with his latest project, "The Spirit of '76," which tells the greatest story you've never heard: a completely factual account of the Virginia Ratification Debates. The Mike Church Show Band was formed in 1999 when guitarist Alan Grossman, owner of the Hit Music Studios, snuck into the WBT studios in Charlotte, North Carolina and slipped a threatening note in Mike’s mailbox.  It read:

“Do NOT ignore Hit Music or the Lord will take his wrath out on you!”

Not wanting be beheaded or forced to listen to Marvin Gorman sermons, Mike complied and found himself at their studios on Thursday, 9 December 1999. Musical sparks flew and this meeting produced the holiday classic, “Horny Santa.”  Mike has compared the experience to being “kind of like actually getting that fat girl into the sack after 10 Jose Cuervos.”  The Mike Church Show Band was born.

As the Mike Church Show Band, the guys have collaborated on over 35 songs so far - with most of it done by swapping music and vocal tracks over the internet.  Jimm Mosher is the engineer and drummer/bassist/keyboardist and mixes most of the songs at Hit Music. He also sings on nearly every song and takes leads on classics like “Libs on the Run.”  Alan Grossman plays guitars and co-produces and also provides vocals and annoying Instant Messages.  In late 2005, the female vocal talents of Ashley Farmer, became part of the mix and when she’s not chasing her brood of rugrats around the double wide Ashley delivers amazing backing vocals and has also taken lead on hits like “Work Like a Mexican.”

As Mike sees it, there’s no telling what the Mike Church Show Band may come up with next, though someday they’d would love to get together and do a LIVE concert, maybe even a small tour. “One thing’s for sure,” Mike adds. “It’s still the most fun anyone is having making records today and must be driving liberals absolutely mad. That makes my day.”
