In a valiant display of Constitutional ideals and commitment to public safety, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal signs into law a measure that requires chemical castration for repeated sex offenders and offers physical castration as an option to the criminal in leiu of jailtime.
This comes the day after the Supreme Court invalidated a Louisiana death sentence for a child rapist, and Jindal is none too happy with the decision. With almost unheard of backbone and conviction, the governor pulls no punches in his criticism of the Supreme Court and vows to fight any challenge to the castration law.

FINALLY, someone gets it right. These pieces of sh*t that rape women/girls (regardless of victim's age) should have been getting this punishment for YEARS across the country. Not just in Louisiana. (Actually, I'd rather have the perps killed, but castration is an excellent alternative.)

Bobby jindal IS my governor--Don't believe his words!! He says one thing, but his actions are NOT his words. He has broken campaign promises to us, the people who put him in office. This man is proving himself to be a wimp with no backbone! On July 7,2008, there will be a protest march on the steps of the state capitol. There is a recall petition being processed as I write. I am writing to update the comment that I posted this morning. Bobby Jindal announced today that he is vetoing the legislation that threatened to derail his term as governor. We had to arm twist, but in the end he did the right thing! Thank you Governor Jindal!
