Will they grow up to cavort about town as scantily clad as legally possible and then expose what little their clothing had hid to a YouTube crazed world? I would the events are true but the name shave been changed to protect the innocent but alas ‘tis all true. These mileposts have all been reached and applauded in the former by Rosie O’Donell and in the latter by Britney Spears with an assist by Barbara Walters and Hillary Clinton. In today’s world of everything is equal women have now achieved the final equality: being the vulgar equals of men. The disturbing thing is that this particular equality is rewarded and even in a moral vacuum it is certainly not being discouraged. Gone are any pretensions that women hold the key to the future unless it’s through the Presidency and lesser political means. Gone is any mention that true achievement for our daughters is that they can aspire to a higher calling than the next BMW purchase or corporate promotion. That finding, securing and working to hold a lifelong contract known as a marriage and the children it can produce and instilling in them a higher calling is the greatest achievement. Experiencing and living for Love of God, country, family and of service to all three. That expressing feminine modesty and chastity in the battle of the sexes actually STRENGTHENS their appeal to men. That innocence, indeed, that altruism is lost and in Rosie’s world we are failing to find a path back to it. |
