17 Feb. 2007 - Make no mistake folks, 16 feb 2007 will be a stain upon the U.S. of A and more potently upon the Democrat Party, a day that will truly live in infamy. HR Con Res 63, which claimed to “support the troops” while it simultaneously declared their mission a defeat and it’s commender an idiot has handed bin Laden and his followers something they could NEVER earn on a battlefield or in an war of ideology: Victory.

There have been 109 previous sessions of Congress and through mock French Invasions, Real British Invasions, Indian Incursions, Wars between the states, Battles to take San Juan Hill and save the Philippines, WWI & WWII, The Korean War, The Vietnam War, Grenada, Lebanon, Kuwait and Afghanistan No Congress has ever brought a vote to the floor of the House condemning it’s own military or it’s mission.

Passage of this Resolution and the debate that accompanied It is disgraceful, shameful, cowardly, despicable; and because it offers aid and comfort to the enemy: Treasonous. That’s right 17 Republicans and 224 Democrats could and should be charged with TREASON. Democrats have declared their intention to fight a war albeit one against their own countrymen (troops) and for the ideals of the enemy.
