The Race to Lick Obama's Boots |

Wesley Clark had the misplaced cajones to try and marginalize McCain's military record saying that riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down doesn't qualify him to be president. I'm sorry, but any rational human being can see that McCain's bravery and commitment to this country he displayed by refusing to give up any information and declining an early release from a POW camp unless his fellow captors went with him does display a level of patriotism and leadership that Obama just can't live up to. Many of McCain's policies can be questioned. McCain's history of legislation in the Senate can be questioned. But his war record, character, and love of this country cannot. The only thing that would explain Clark's behavior is that he'll do anything to try and even the playing field between McCain's proven patriotism and Obama's patriotism gap. I guess dismissing a national hero's torture is just a small price to pay to become VP. And then here comes Jim Webb. Not only does Jim Webb defend Clark's comments and swears on his giant pumpkin head that Obama loves this country, he tells a national TV audience that McCain should just calm down. I'm sorry, but after spending 5 years It's no coincidence that Clark and Webb are the Obama surrogates chosen to go out and belittle McCain's service because they too are vets, but the biggest piece of hypocrisy is evidenced by comparing Clark's words of today to a speech he gave in 2004 hailing John Kerry's mighty 41 days in Vietnam as a gallant ward record that makes John Kerry the most qualified man for the job. These people are sickening. Obama himself has a huge patriotism deficit and can't even BEGIN to questions McCain's record, but that's what he has the two boot licking lackeys for: to disgrace their veteran status by throwing an American hero under the bus. |

I guess to the victor goes the spoils and since Obama is the big Dem on the block, the race is on for the vice presidential nomination. Such a glorious second prize has inspired high profile liberal politicians to fall all over each other trying to out perform each other in their Obama worship.
