It’s easy to see why people are fed up with the political system in the United States and the concept of revolution is proposed in various forms on a regular basis. These propositions include benign suggestions such as who we should elect to Congress and span all of the way to those who are ready to take up arms and forcefully depose the political entirety of Washington DC.
Let’s just tap the brakes for a minute.
How many of you have had a LIFELONG devotion to the history and ideals of the Declaration and Constitution? I imagine the number is few, if any, because most of us went through a self-motivated process of studying the principles of the Founding Fathers and grew into our current political ideals.
Most Americans trudged through a less than stellar public school system flanked on all sides by liberal induced regulations and curriculum. Some of us continued into a more intensified liberal boot camp disguised as a college. Somewhere along the way, we were exposed to the philosophies of the Founders and of Liberty and rejected ideas to the contrary.
That’s the key! This is a war of ideas, and the facts are on our side. History proves us right and continues to do so on a daily basis, so before we lobbing musket balls at the Supreme Court let’s exhaust all non-violent measures first.
Our Founding Fathers were smart enough to include a not-so-secret provision for citizens who were upset with their elected officials: voting.
