S-CHIP Healthcare Is a Cow-CHIP Program

Mitch McConnell has sold out his conservative principles, plain and simple.  In an op-ed piece he makes his case for supporting the S-CHIP program which is just the liberals' foot in the door towards socialized medicine.  He tries to rationalize his position by saying he thinks it should be smaller and therefore cost less, but being Diet Hillary isn't a worthy compromise in this arena.  If you want more children to have access to affordable health insurance, you deregulate, not subsidize!  There's no reason tax money from a citizen in Arizona should go to pay for a child's doctor visit in Ohio.

On the other side of the coin, Wisconsin's state legislators agreed to a state wide health insurance plan for all its citizens, and that's fine.  Watch the costs go over budget.  Watch good workers leave to escape the taxes.  Watch deadbeats move in to suckle the teat of nanny government so the rest of the country can see what will REALLY happen if the Dems get to establish their wet dream of socialized medicine nation wide.
