The Democrat Perversion of Bravery
True bravery is exemplified by Joe Leiberman who not only bucks his party's stance for what he considers to be an important mission in Iraq, but does not waiver in his resolve despite having to re-win his Senate chair as an independent. True bravery is doing the right thing in the face of potential negative consequences, not changing your position because it's popular, especially if that position is retreat.

First it was Dick Lugar who pulled a 180 on the Iraq War, then George Voinovich, and now Pete Dominici is the latest Republican on Capitol Hill to bail on the idea the we could/would/should win in Iraq. The Democrats are hailing their flip flop as an act of BRAVERY that they want to run from a battle in the war on terror, but when public opinion polls are leaning in favor of one's stance, true bravery is hardly an accurate diagnosis.
