Mandeville, LA – Mike Church‘s daily Pile of Prep, bringing you the day to day activity of the Constitution AND Articles of Confederation and how they were framed in the summers of 1776 and then 1787. Are DeceptiCONS beginning to fear the emerging non-intervention foreign policy promoted by Senator Rand Paul et al? Read along with Mike’s historical viewpoint to help make sense of it all plus other [r]epublican stories used to perform the Mike Church Show on Sirius/XM Patriot channel 125. “Mr. Gerry did not like the term national, by the gentleman from Virginia, and  hoped it would not be adopted by the House. It brought to his mind some observations that had taken place in the conventions at the time they were considering the present constitution. It had been insisted upon by those who were called antifederalists, that this form of Government consolidated the Union the honorable gentleman’s motion shows that he considers it in the same light. Those who were called antifederalists at that time complained that they had injustice done them by the title, because they were in favor of a Federal Government, and the others were in favor of a national one; the federalists were for ratifying the constitution as it stood, and the others not until amendments were made- Their names then ought not to have been distinguished by federalists and antifederalists, but rats and antirats.” – Ellbridge Gerry during the debate over the language of the 1st Amendment in Congress, 15 August, 1789

Folks, you can’t make this stuff up:

Patrick J BuchananSay hello to America the balkanized, fractured, divided and no longer homogenous in any way, super-democracy

Have the seeds of virtue, sewn below the permafrost, finally begun to thaw out and sprout? Google has moved to ban all pornography ads from their services. If this holds, perhaps the era of “Peak Porn” has been reached. Is there a pursuit of sanctifying Grace in more people’s future?

I have questioned the validity of the “we are a driving people, therefore we must drive to thrive”. How do we know that the massive web of roads built in the name of our own freedom weren’t actual trails of tears filled with angry people in a hurry to get to their next traffic jam? Now someone is asking whether the parking spaces needed to house all those vehicles is such a grand idea, watch this little film for a provocative question: dow we REALLY need to drive EVERYWHERE?

More active citizen victories: The OK Supreme Court upholds OK repeal of Common Core standards as OK continues to forge ahead as the state Voted Most Likely to Secede

SECEDE – Are the Scottish people listening? Edward Snowden reveals that the British intelligence agency GHCQ is as nefarious and dismissive of UK citizens civil rights as the NSA is and has even devised ways to alter their behavior by altering the online content GHCQ KNOWS UK citizens are sampling!

Historical imbecility strikes again: Opponents of a plan to split CA into 6 separate states say the plan is “kooky” because “bigger is better” and there will be “a general skepticism of how dividing the state will improve it.” Ummm, because NoCal people have NOTHING in common with SoCAL people and each would benefit from electing their own Governor and two members of the U.S. Senate (if they’re dumb enough to rejoin the american Union)

David Stockman: The implosion of the “casino” markets that Wall Street has become, thanks to The Fed, are about to implode. Stockman gives a dozen reasons and warning signs for his prediction but the scariest one is, paraphrased, why would anyone in their right mind believe that companies are earning at 20x the PE rate they were in 2007?

Real numbers on the US Economy anyone? Mish breaks down the story behind the “worst start of a year for the economy since 2009”. He wonders if the fact that part-time hiring has soared into 7 figures, thanks to ObamaCare has anything to do with the doom mentioned by David Stockman (above) and Mish

Mike Church reviews movies for you, read his latest take on those films the mainstream critics never bother to watch

More Mish: The Bastiat masterpiece “Petition of the candle makers” has been remade in France with amazon’s book sellers as the petitioners who DON’T want “free shipping”

DeceptiCONNED: Rep Justin Amash becomes public enemy number 1 for the DeceptiCONS who want his seat and want Constitution defenders like Amash sent to teach home-shcooling with Ron Paul

What happens when government builds millions of miles of roads, designed by politicians in need of contributions from people in need of roads? You get a “highway trust fund” that needs $302 BILLION to keep it afloat and the web of overbuilt, over regulated roads “maintained”.

DeceptiCONNED II: TX Governor Rick Perry declares war ion Rand Paul and the peace loving/desiring people of Earth.

And Bruce Fein echoes my sentiments “Rick Perry has flunked the Senator Rand Paul school of aggressive self-defense”

Senator Paul responds to Governor Perry in a preview of the 2016 GOP Primaries. Paul wonders if Perry has enlisted Bill Kristol’s “occupy Iraq until never” views and wishes to join Senator Graham in that deployment, something the American public is not in favor of

Meanwhile in Gotham City, the Bomber aka known as Rep Peter King warns that Paul must be stopped before people start to believe him!? “Maybe [the Republican critics] are starting to realize that he could emerge as a leader of the party, and he’d be dangerous for the country [if his] views go unchallenged, it’s possible that people will become convinced they’re valid foreign policy views, and they’re not.”

DeceptiCONNED III: The Republican House Judiciary Chairman says the Constitution is clear and Pres. Obama has done NOTHING to warrant impeachment. He then calls for more action on Boehner’s lawsuit! If this man tried to get a question of Constitutionality more backwards this is what he would say.

Dems claim that “under our law” we “must care for” the children who make it to the TX/Mexico border. 1. What law is that so we can get it repealed? 2. Who were the Reps that voted to feed/clothe and shelter the planet’s orphaned children?

Ron Paul disagrees with libertarians on the open border society because “we don’t live in a libertarian society” AND blames the current border crisis on U.S. drug war policy. “In fact much of the problem can be directly traced to the US drug war, which creates unlivable conditions in countries that produce narcotics for export to the US. Many of those interviewed over the past several weeks have cited violent drug gangs back home as a main motivation for their departure. Because some Americans want to use drugs here in the US, governments to the south are bribed and bullied to crack down on local producers. The resulting violence has destroyed economies and lives from Mexico to Nicaragua and beyond.

The 2014 American History curriculum in TX omits lots of history about the Founding generation, WWII military heroes, Rev Martin Luther King Jr and pretty much anything about the Constitution

TX lawmakers (think federal Parliament) propose expediting the administrative hearings that deal with the illegal alien children stacking up at the border but without altering the 2008 law, this is but a change in procedure NOT law

The Imaginative Conservative: The “Left vs Right Fallacy” is explained by Christopher Dawson as the Christian State was one that was to be governed by men living under the same eternal rules as the King

I told ya so, I. Governor Moonbeam signs bill that strikes the words “husband” and “wife” from ALL California legal codes and replaces them with the androgynous “spouse” as the “golden state” paves the way for the brave new world without “marriages” as understood for 8,000+ years (but there WILL be same sex marriages). So what happens when a pair of (if there are such creatures in our modern Gomorrah) of Catholics who happen to be of OPPOSITE sexes decide to marry in CA and then demand that the State enforce its own Constitution which has been micturated on by a homosexual judge?

I told ya so II. When I people warned of the consequences of the near global, guile trip induced, embrace of same sex marriage and the endorsement of homosexuality that goes along with it, we were shouted down as reactionary bigots still living among the Salem Witch Trial perpetrators. But the proverbial slippery slope will not be denied its due. Yesterday I reported on the academic effort to remove the taboo from pedophilia and today I report to you on an Australian judge’s edict that the world needs to get over the taboo on incest because birth defects can be dealt with through abortion.

Speaker Boehner: Obama is shredding the Constitution and writing his own laws, we must defend the Legislative branch and sue him. Kevin Gutzman: No Congressman, THAT Constitution you just cited requires that you pursue an IMPEACHMENT against the President. Me: Lawsuits are for the President’s of Microsoft

What does the Catholic Church say and what DID nearly all Christian orders say about contraception, nearly unanimously, up until the 1930’s? THIS is what they said (warning, Sandra Fluke types should NOT read this)

Having just returned from Scotland (see my photo spreads here), I can truly sympathize with Joseph Pearce’s essay on the current list of “Greatest Britons of All Time” which includes but one Saint and the demonic Alleister Crowley. Pearce waxes about the “England of Our Dreams” and makes his point with authority and class. I relay 1 experience from my visit to St Andrews. My daughter and I met a, sweet, extroverted, 23 yr old recent graduate from the Theology Dept of St Andrews. When I asked what she was going to Amsterdam to study she replied “magic and sorcery”! I remarked that those did not make good compliments to a degree in Christian Theology at which point I was informed that Christianity was “ruined by Augustine, who was a pervert, got herpes then converted hoping to be healed and then damned all of women into slavery with his ‘catechism’ ever since.”

Promoters of Scottish Independence PROVE life with the UK Leviathan isn’t all gumdrops & rainbows opponents of Independence try and make it out to be

I told ya so III: Lord, I hate being right all the time but thank you for blessing me with prescience: “Paedophelic interest is natural and normal for human males” claims a symposium held at prestigious Cambridge University just north of London. I revealed to you through the demonic oration of radical lesbian Masha Gessen on the diabolical plan to eradicate ALL sanctified marriage.

Columnist: The Federal Leviathan is performing so pathetically in most of the tasks it has commandeered that today’s liberal yews, might grow up as “conservatives” and choose community action over government coercion

Still don’t believe my contention that political parties are NOT your friend or the “friend of liberty” they are thought to be by those living the political life? See the “economic impact” the 2016 GOP convention will supposedly have on Cleveland, OH. (obsessed with FaceBook & Twitter updates in quantities that dwarf this pages daily output and the printing presses at the Fed, you probably know a couple of them and should ask them to seek counseling or a physical activity like roofing.)

Q: Was the 14th Amendment ever ratified? A: No, and Forrest MacDonald has the proof.

James Madison’s “Report of 1799-To The Virginia Assembly” This document lays out the proper division of powers when it comes to “immigration” and as I have told you, leaves no doubt that Congress was never granted power over alien “friends”

High Crimes and misdemeanors by H. Lowell Brown is a great history  of the history of impeachment and what the “high crimes and misdemeanors” phrase meant to the Framers of the Constitution

Thomas Hamilton’s “Men and Manners In America” is a good read to get a glimpse of what 19th century writers were saying about the Yankee spirit that was consuming the political affairs of northern Americans, a spirit that was seized on in Lincoln’s war and ultimately became our “exceptionalism”

NEW – If you wonder why I refuse to deviate from the opposition to our bellicose foreign policy and all that it conjures up, read this most important essay about the effects of “War, Power and Supremacy” Here’s an excerpt. “Except for the inhabitants of certain former states of the Confederacy, particu- larly Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia, Americans have no experience at the other end of the process of radicalization. They have not suffered the fate of having been demonized, followed by savage in- vasion where no quarter is given, commu- nities laid waste—and that succeeded by a period of occupation replete with the usual antics of unscrupulous exploita- tion and further brutalizing acts. Lacking such a historical memory, finding it easy to dismiss the Southern experience, and, furthermore, being inclined by nature and education to discount history in general, Americans lack both the internalized ex- perience of the vanquished and the incli- nation to suspect a political establish- ment that promotes such barbarism as a new principle of global supremacy.

NEW – Don’ t take anyone else’s word for what happened in the Federal Convention of 1787, read it for yourself in this online version of Farrand’s Records of the Federal Convention of 1787-Volume I

Are agrarian [r]epublicans making a comeback? Dr Allan C Carlson seems to think so, here are some of his RARE lectures to listen to and watch

Well whaddayouknow, the NSA programs are carried out under an Executive Order signed by President Reagan in 1981 Donald Livingston explains the path that Lincoln took to subjugate the Southern States to the Northern with all the facts of the story in place. Take an afternoon and enjoy…

How were young boys taught American History “back in the day”? Read just 1 issue of the bi-annul St Nicholas Reader and you will understand what has happened

The works of William Graham Sumner include a brilliant essay titled “The Forgotten Man” published in 1883. You can read the entire collected works under this title here, or find the abridged version with only The Forgotten Man essay in it on this site here

Why is it a bad idea to have a standing army just laying around? CATO, the 18th century Whig, read by most of the Founders, explains as an Englishmen, meaning this school of thought comes from the conservative tradition the Founders inherited and defended

When you hear your “conservative” friends yodel on endlessly about the “Liberal Media” or the corrupt “MSM” as they are convinced this is a recent event, send them here to go read Mark Twain’s speech of 1873 about the “corrupt press”

Here’s an interesting work that I recently discovered “The Crowd” by Guztave Le Bron a fascinating study of how crowds control nations and what nations become control crowds. No, it isn’t a paradox, it is the study of how inertia in public affairs is almost always missing when “change” is lusted for

Albert J Nock’s: Isaiah’s Job (from Tuesday, 4 Feb, 2014 show-Ed.), the story of how the Remant is to be kept animated and active if Man is to survive perdition (our own path to destruction)

If you haven’t read Dante’s Inferno in a while, this site has the entire work broken down by segment/chapter, character and more

Murray Rothbrad delivers a brilliant history of the Progressive movement and the Federal Reserve it created

The Webster Hayne debates over the original intent of the federal union and the constitution got heated into high gear on 26 January, 1830 in the U.S. Senate. read the Webster-Hayne debates

Presenting George Clinton’s “Cato” letter, Number 3, sometimes referred to as AntiFederalist # 14. Cato explains why a large republic will never work and why smaller ones are preferred

This 1860 classic work details the type of manners and etiquette every young man should learn and live his life by. I just started reading the work myself and look forward to sharing much of it here and on-air. “THE GENTLEMEN’S BOOK OF ETIQUETTE, AND MANUAL OF POLITENESS”

Our Federal Government” by Abel Upshur is an 1833 demolition of Justice Joseph Story’s fabricated history of the United States and her Constitution. WARNING: Reading this will increase your resolve to secede!

The Historical Writings of John Fiske, The American Revolution. If you are prepping for the upcoming pop quiz from my friends at Franklin’s Opus, on Valley Forge, this is a good start

The  counter-argument presented by John taylor of Caroline AFTER the government’s lawyer, Wickham, presented his case for the tax. I did not include this in the Carriage Tax Pamphlet but have found it online. Begin reading on pg 423. [/private]

Spirit of 76 yet to appear on Fox News
You will always save BIG when buying Founding Father Films Combo packs

You just can’t make some of this stuff up. Animal rights activists protest Steven Spielberg’s “killing of an innocent animal”, the  sickly triceratops from Jurassic park, the photo causing the outrage was taken in 1996

Norfolk, Nebraska 4th of July parade float that depicted Obama’s library as an outhouse is derided ads “racist” by local Dems. Only the perpetually outraged crowd could mistake political satire for racism or maybe, CONVERT satire t0 racism. Any fan of political cartoons should see the “bathroom humor” for what it is but then again….

Did you know that in 1865, 7,000 Confederation citizens sailed to Brazil and set up a community there and are STILL there today? Hmmmm, maybe there IS still a place to seek refuge from Obama’s Leviathan

Today’s Latin Phrase of the Day:  “Et Libertas set pectus purim et fermium gestate; alias res obnoxiosae note in obscura latent.” Liberty is having a pure and dauntless heart; all else is slavery and hidden darkness
