Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – There’s no doubt as to what’s going on.  Folks, as I said, the technician describes what it is that he has in the dish.  He’s not led into it.  He’s giddy about it, and so are the nurses in the room that are yucking it up along with him.  They’re so desensitized to what it is that they’re handling that they don’t even think about it.  It’s like they’re handling a bunch of chicken livers.  Such is now the universal desensitization that all human life is precious.  Check out today’s transcript for the rest….

Mike:  Sean Davis, one of the cofounders of The Federalist, wrote this last night, “Planned Parenthood Tells Reporters To Suppress Coverage, Reporters Happily Agree.”

How bad is the baby organ trafficking story for Planned Parenthood? So bad that the nation’s largest abortion provider has hired a pricey PR firm to bully media outlets into not covering the scandal.

According to Politico, Planned Parenthood hired Democratic megafirm SKDKnickerbocker . . .

Mike:  By the way, that’s an insult to the original

Knickerbocker.  How many of you people know who the original Knickerbocker was?  That’s a great trivia question.  I won’t answer that.  I’ll tell you what, I’ll think of some kind of prize from the Founders Tradin’ Post for who can tell me who the original Knickerbocker was.  As a matter of fact, there was a biography written of him that called him the original Knickerbocker.

According to Politico, Planned Parenthood hired Democratic megafirm SKDKnickerbocker to handle its public relations effort surrounding the widening organ trafficking scandal.  In a series of undercover videos released by the Center for Medical Progress, multiple top Planned Parenthood executives are captured haggling over the prices of aborted baby body parts and discussing ways to maximize money earned through the harvesting and sale of human organs.

Unsurprisingly, preventing coverage of the videos is apparently key to Planned Parenthood’s survival strategy:

“Planned Parenthood has hired high-profile Washington public relations firm SKDKnickerbocker as it scrambles to deal with the ongoing scandal and release of a third undercover video Tuesday showing a clinic’s staff handling fetal tissue after an abortion.”

“The group circulated a memo to reporters and producers late Monday that discouraged them from airing the undercover videos, arguing that they were obtained under false identification and violated patient privacy.”

Mike:  See, they don’t deny what’s going on in the videos.  They just say, [mocking] “They used fake IDs.”  So?  Women use fake IDs to get abortions.  That’s okay.  Little girls enticed into these ghastly, horrifically mortally sinful activities of killing their babies use fake IDs to obtain them.  They’re only too happy to oblige.  [mocking] “Violated patient privacy, you see.”  So?  No patients are being highlighted here anyway.  What about the patient that’s lying in the petri dish?  What about that patient?  Sean Davis continues:

So there’s a concerted effort from Planned Parenthood and its allies to “discourage” [media outlets] from airing the undercover videos”? The deuce, you say? That would certainly go a long way towards explaining why so many left-leaning media outlets refused to cover the second video, which captured a senior Planned Parenthood executive noting that she needed a good deal on aborted baby organs because, “I want a Lamborghini.”

BuzzFeed, for example, still does not have a single story on its website noting Planned Parenthood’s aborted baby organs-for-Lambos scheme (coincidentally, SKDKnickerbocker recently hired former BuzzFeed reporter Kate Nocera to help handle PR work for its non-profit clients). [Mike: Can you imagine this? Nonprofits now make so much profit that they can hire PR firms.] Neither does Huffington Post. Neither does Vox. The story was trending on Facebook and Twitter, yet three sites that specialize in amplifying trending and viral content refused to print a single thing about the stories. Now we know why: Planned Parenthood likely told them not to.

Mike:  Davis went to BuzzFeed yesterday evening, typed in the terms “Planned Parenthood” to see if there were any stories, zero results.  Then he went to the Huffington Post, typed in the search term “Planned Parenthood,” zero results.  Then he went to Vox, typed in the search term “Planned Parenthood,” zero results.  By the way, this story is in today’s Pile of Prep.  You can get the Pile of Prep delivered to your email everyday if you sign up for the Daily Republican email newspaper, which has my republican thought of the day in it and the top three stories from the day’s Pile of Prep.  Sign-up it’s free.  It doesn’t cost anything.  Put your email in for the Daily Republican sign-up box in the top right-hand corner of any page.

It gets more absurd, though. Earlier today, Politico was quite proud of its scoop about Planned Parenthood hiring a PR firm to control the crisis. It even tweeted out an excerpt from the story noting that suppressing media coverage was a key component of the embattled abortion provider’s PR strategy. Then this happened:

Mike:  He shows on The Federalist site – it’s difficult for me to try to explain this.  I have to describe it to you.  Jon Gabriel: “News media should print the warnings @SDKKnick is sending them about not showing the PP videos.”  This is the guy who writes for The Federalist.  The next tweet is: “Politico got the message. They deleted this tweet (although it’s still in the story).” “The group circulated a memo to reporters and producers that discouraged them from airing the undercover videos.” [/private]

What do you call it when a news organization, under pressure from Planned Parenthood and its supporters to suppress coverage of its apparent organ trafficking activities, starts not just suppressing, but actually deleting statements about how media outlets are under pressure from Planned Parenthood to suppress coverage of its activities?

Mission accomplished.

[end reading]

Mike:  This is quite unbelievable, is it not?  As a matter of fact, you might say, if you were watching this and you were watching a movie about this, this is probably what would happen in a movie.  You would not suspect that it would happen anywhere else.  You would not expect that it would happen in real life, would you?  I think that is partially what has prevented this story from becoming scandal du jour or the next gate.  Why is no one calling this Planned Parenthood-gate?  Every other alleged scandal that’s not really a scandal has had gate attached to it.  We even had Rugbygate.  Where’s the gate part of this?  Where’s Planned Parenthood-gate?  I guess that’s the proper way to ask this.  It’s nonexistent, not to be found.

Let’s just spend a moment thinking about why that is.  Why is that?  It’s very simple to explain, and I think most of you instinctively know the answer to that question.  The answer to the question is, to allow this story to become a shocking story of the millennia that it is, to give it coverage, to acknowledge the gravity of it as it should be acknowledged is simply not in the cards.  It is simply not palatable for most people.  That is because implicit in making the story big news and then actually doing something about it so that it cannot continue requires tens if not hundreds of millions of people to examine their own conscience.  It would require people to finally admit or to begin the process of admission and then begging for forgiveness of what it is that they have brought into existence, which is a civilization that so desperately wishes to have his cake, its sex cake and eat it too, and to worship the dark lord that is the demon it has brought into existence and given validity to an entity that traffics the killing of humans.
