MANDEVILLE, LOUISIANA - Exclusive Transcript - Mike seeks to dismiss the persistently incorrect myths surrounding an Article V convention. Championed by forgotten founder, George Mason of Virginia, he saw the need to insert a fail-safe into the federal Constitution, should the Central Authority overstep its clearly defined enumerated powers.
Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Transcript - You want to hear what the Church Plan is? Here’s how you fix this mess: we’re not going to agree to any tax increases; however, the American sheeple will agree that if the President and the Congress will agree to do the following, we will assist. We will all be good little patriots and we will all assist in one last-ditch effort, outside of an Article V Amendment convention, one last-ditch effort to try and right the fiscal or the financial ship. Here is how our effort will go down: each of us will agree to purchase, as a percent of your income, whatever the case may be, a United States savings bond, a 30-year redeemable savings bond. Your savings bond may be a grand, mine is a grand and a half, two grand. We all agree to purchase the savings bond. Er-body gotta purchase the bond. That includes the 47 percent that pay no taxes. You’re going to have about 250 million bonds issued, and the smallest denomination will be, let’s say $500. Check out today's transcript for the rest of the Church Plan...

So even if you didn't go out to Best Buy to spend money you don't have, the National Treasury did that job for you. Check out the rest in today's Founders TV Video and audio. Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Audio and Transcript - People today are risk averse, which is why you hear carping, crying, whining, bitching and complaining when people like me or Tom Woods or Marshall DeRosa or Kevin Gutzman or Jack Hunter or any of us bring up Article V amendment convention and actually say, “This has got to stop and we’re going to stop it right now. We’re going to have a convention. Supreme Court, we’re going to smack you down. It’s over. Enjoy your little party, Mr. Lebowski because the bums in Congress and in the judiciary are going to lose!” We’ve lost that. Other than rekindling it through literature and through study, I don’t know any other way to get it back. We need brave men. It was brave men that fought a revolution, wrote an Article of Confederation, brave men that said, “That’s not good enough, let’s do a new thing and call it the Constitution.” Then brave men said, “Let’s ratify it.” Check out today's audio and transcript for more...
