Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Video and Audio - There are those in the North who want to continue fighting Lincoln's War of Aggression until every Southern, Confederate is obliterated from history. From re-naming Military installations that were named after Confederate Generals because they were part of the "slaveocracy". Well, Jefferson, Washington, and many others were also members of the so-called "slaveocracy". And let's not forget the outrage that Yankees have over Robert E Lee! Many people in the North seem to think that the Confederacy was completely comprised of evil, racist, war-mongering, genocidal maniacs and that it had to be "put down" like it was some sort of rabid dog. These people that think like this are just despicable. For more on this be sure and check out today's Founders TV and sign up for a Founders Pass if you haven't already!
Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Audio and Transcript - On today's show, Chuck Thompson, author of "Better Off Without 'em" joined Mike for a friendly discussion about secession. Chuck believes that the North and South have gone their separate ways for over 200 years not only in politics, but also in culture, so why not have an amicable split? There are, of course, a few details that Mike and Chuck disagree on (like Texas going to the North?) but the overall idea is basically the same, that the more local the government, the better for everyone involved. For more with Chuck, check out today's transcript and a clip from his interview...

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – I have a very intriguing thought to add to this discussion about intellect and about what conservatives ought to do. As a nonconformist member of the worst generation, I think the major problem we have today is we’re not smart enough to have studied, or we’re not studious to know what words actually mean. We use many words out of context. The most bastardized and abused word out there is the word conservative. Check out today’s transcript for the rest…
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – There is an essay at The American Conservative Magazine website. [mocking] “Mike, you were hard on The American Conservative Magazine yesterday.” Yeah, well, I was just being honest. I don’t ask for jingoism from anyone else, so I don’t expect that anyone expects they’re going to get jingoism or Homerism from yours truly. In any event, The American Conservative Magazine’s Patrick J. Deneen posts what I think is an article -- this is not internet folly, not fantasy, not made up and comprised of a bunch of forwarded, hackneyed emails that aren’t true. The title of the piece is “What Is an American Conservative?” That is a great question. Check out today's transcript for the rest...
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – I have this story here, this opinion piece in The American Conservative Magazine, at amconmag.com. It’s written by Sean Scallon under the title of “The Nationalist Left Rises.” After Scallon goes through a bit of the history of what liberals used to say about the military superstate and what they say today about the military superstate now that Obama’s running it are two totally separate things. Then he gets into the real threat from the nationalist left. This is where the millennial generation comes in. Check out today’s transcript for the rest…
Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Transcript - If you really desire separation from and some sort of closure on distancing yourself or not having to live under the scourge of progressivism, then the thing to do is to organize and separate from it. This is the only surefire way. The colonists in 1776, since Independence Week is on us, if the colonists, soon to be independent states, they tried for years, for decades, to make deals or compromises with parliament and with the crown to try and stop some of the things that they viewed as usurpations of their ancient constitutional rights and what they believed was their sovereignty. They believed because they were over here and the Englanders were over there. Since the Englanders didn’t actually have to live under the results of acts and edicts that they were passing, that they were illegitimate and that they should basically leave us alone.
