Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Transcript - I think what he just explained to you -- this is just another point of view in a long string of explanations, Professor Livingston -- is that you’ve been taught to understand the constitutional order as specifically and totally defined by the federal judiciary when we know from the admonitions of the framers of the Constitution that the government cannot possibly be the sole arbiter of the extent of its own powers. Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Video and Audio - Three weeks after Obama's election and the talk of Secession is still going strong... especially in Texas. In fact, Larry Kilgore is running for Governor of Texas and will even change his name to Larry SECEDE Kilgore. But what about Ron Paul? In an interview with Mike earlier in the year he said the he didn't really think Secession was a very good idea... but lately he's changed his mind about it, which he doesn't do very often, so what's cause him to change his mind. Well, Ron is from Texas and if they seceded, they would probably have to re-write the Constitution to have a President, and he could certainly run for that office... Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – "Please explain to me, or to people that think like me: Where then is the hope for a federal solution to any of this? The fact of the matter is, sans a federal balanced budget amendment, the current crisis we suffer under is only going to become more insufferable. Since we know what they’re doing to the dollar and we know what’s happening to real wages, you can see the decline written on the proverbial wall. " Check out today’s transcript for the rest…

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – What I think I figured out is that the Obamacare act has so many of you so frustrated, politically frustrated, and since it has become nearly the singular cause célèbra of the “conservative movement,” and that there doesn’t seem to be a constitutional remedy to escape it. We’re not going to take it, but there are probably three constitutional remedies. Check out today’s transcript for the rest…

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – Quite possibly for the first time in the history of the United States, there is an edict that has been issued by our almighty federal overlords who are camped out on the banks of the Potomac River in what I like to refer to as Mordor on the Potomac River. For the first time, they may have actually achieved what it was that they set out to do, which was to assume some manner of control over the personal lives of all 310 million citizens. Mandeville, LA - You’ve probably all read the KY & VA Resolves on nullification & interposition and, like most people, think that is the beginning and end of the story, but like most great epics in history there is always a back story that is equally as important. In the case of Nullification & Interposition the back story is that the inspiration for the resolves wasn’t from a brain storming session between Jefferson, Taylor & Madison. The inspiration actually came from the CITIZENS of Fredericksburg VA.

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – The reason is because it is far easier and a lot more comforting in the short-term to abuse the privilege of governing, especially when you can abuse it with the promise that a future person to be governed is going to pay for it. It’s nothing more than a wealth transfer scheme unlike any the world has ever seen. It is despicable. It is criminal. It is morally repulsive. Yet, an entire population of this continent is unable to see the crime that is happening in broad daylight, is being rejoiced about, and is being celebrated today. Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – What remains to be seen is whether or not it does survive the funding mechanism and if it does go into effect. What remains to be seen of the 24 states that nullified or interposed against it and the ones that still refuse to open the exchanges up -- we have a spring session coming up in most legislatures, Texas excluded because they just met, it remains to be seen what those legislatures will do. Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – How many of you have used the term abolish in the last month? How many of you have thought of how to abolish, for example, the IRS, how to abolish the NSA? Around the time of the founders, when the Virginia Bill of Rights was written, principally by George Mason, the wisest man of his generation -- that’s what Jefferson called him -- there’s a clause in the Virginia Bill of Rights that says citizens have an indubitable, indefeasible, unalienable right to reform, alter, or abolish any form of government that has become destructive of the ends of society. Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – First of all, you wrote the book Nullification. I’m sure you saw that yesterday the Oklahoma House voted by a vote of 72-20, pretty overwhelming, to nullify Obamacare. Even here in 2013 and about three or four years after nullification came out, it seems like some of our fellow citizens and countrymen are still pursuing nullification. Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – If you’re a fan of nullification, you’re going to want to read this piece. From this little gathering in Fredericksburg, Virginia comes the inspiration for great things, which are the Virginia and Kentucky Resolutions, of course Kentucky written by Jefferson, Virginia written by Madison, both with an assist from Taylor of Caroline. Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Video and Audio - There's a bill coming up on South Carolina's agenda that could possibly have huge ramifications for ObamaCare... but what exactly are those ramifications? Well, the bill is to nullify ObamaCare but we won't know until later today or tomorrow if the bill actually reaches the Senate, but if it does it will more than likely pass and head to Gov. Nikki Haley's desk for signature. So if it passes is it just symbolic? Will there be even more legal battles costing the tax payers even more money? Or will it actually be beneficial for people in the state of South Carolina trying to purchase private insurance instead of being forced into a Federal program? Check out today's Founders TV to find out and be sure and sign up for a Founders Pass for the entire show!

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – The Feds are now all over everything that has anything to do with disaster relief. Of course, Inhofe and Coburn, they can’t go out there and say, [mocking] “There’s going to be waste and abuse in the appropriation of any funds.” Inhofe says of course they’re going to get federal dollars in Oklahoma, but we’re going to offset them with spending cuts. Doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose of transferring responsibilities back to the states? Check out today’s transcript for the rest…

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – If you’re looking for a scandal, if you’re looking for something to jump up and down and scream about and have your hair set on fire and then go running up and down the streets hollering and screaming about the injustice of it all, then Benghazi is not it but the IRS story is. Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Video and Audio - The process of Nullification is gaining steam, which should make you and me excited, right? But in this case the process of Nullification is being explained incorrectly to people in a poll. In the poll, people are being told that Nullification is simply a state being able to invalidate any federal law that they don't agree with. Well that's not in the spirit of Nullification, we made a compact with the Federal Government when the Constitution was ratified and, even though the power has been reversed since 1776 from the states to the Feds, we can't just invalidate any Federal Acts we feel like. For more on this please check out today's Founders TV and sign up for a Founders Pass if you haven't already.

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – When the Constitution was ratified, the guy who actually wrote the “We the people” script and actually wrote the four original parchment paper pages that hold the original text of the original Constitution, Gouverneur Morris, he went to his grave convinced that his grandchildren would not live in an American Union consecrated under a Constitution. It is nothing short of an absolute miracle or maybe a curse, depending on whose side you’re on, that we still remain together as 48 lower contiguous American states. Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – To read this letter here is just to read the most laughable interpretation of the federal constitution -- I say laughable in 18th century terms. Of course today people think that what Eric Holder wrote, [mocking] “Yeah, he can do that.” You have guys like Bill O’Reilly running around who will cite the supremacy clause for the silliest things and not even question it. You should question it. The Feds are not supreme and you shouldn’t want them to be supreme. The whole concept of federalism, or as I call it republicanism, relies on the fact that they’re not supreme. Check out today’s transcript for the rest…
