After watching Senator Paul's speech and becoming intrigued by the Madison line I began searching for the source which his notes did not provide. In my search I encountered dozens of articles citing the line, most attributed to Senator Paul. After a thorough search using google I could not locate the passage in question.

With "Conservatives" and their corrupt "think tanks" now fully backing the wasteful and unconstitutional spending on "interstate highway projects" who is left to defend the molecules of the Constitution that remain in effect? Well, we can summon the pen of Constitutional author, ratifier and President under, James Madison and his -SHOULD BE FAMOUS-veto of Henry Clay's "bonus Bill" in 1817.

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – As far as your third party, I don’t have the answer to your political question, because I don’t think that politics is going to solve or is capable of solving any of this. If it were, then I would think since the Roman polis was created, or if you want to go back to the Athenian republics of ancient Greece, I would think over the ensuing almost 3,000 years, man would have figured this out, don’t you think? I would say that politics is not something that solves anything. Check out today’s transcript for the rest…

Mandeville, LA - The latest in our Project '76 collection is the must listen to, 2nd Amendment hit of the millennia. Writer/Director/Narrator Mike Church takes you on an exciting, audio journey back to 1788 to hear the great Patrick Henry launch his opposition to ratifying the U.S. Constitution and his primary concern for doing so was... he feared the new government would abolish the militia and then the right to bear arms outside of a standing army.

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – A state is nothing more than the official arm of operation for the people of any sovereign territory. That’s all a state is. People think: We ought to do all these things in our states. What do you mean by states? Few people ever bother to define it. The state, I would define as having a sovereign border, sovereign territory, sovereign people that are citizens, and they have the will to enact and the power to enforce law. Simply defined, that’s what a state is. It’s people acting in their political capacity. That does not mean that a state is not also and cannot also be a composition of people that are not political animals. Check out today’s transcript for the rest…

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – “Sales Tax: History of a Dumb Idea” by Mason Gaffney, this is part of my post. It goes way, way back, farther than you can ever imagine. Check out today’s audio and transcript for the rest…

Those who so loudly cheer for the misery of sales taxes to be equally applied instead of universally reviled, richly deserve the fate they are about to earn. The tragedy is there will be much collateral damage and what pray tell is "fair" about that?

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – I want to repeat, there are three instances under which the militia would fall under the control of the Congress, and then only to write rules for how they should be disciplined. The three instances are: there is a declaration of war, the country or a state has been invaded by a foreign warring force, or there has been a rebellion in one of the states and the governor or the legislature of that state has asked for help in putting it down. Those are the three instances under which Congress could write any kind of rule regulating any gun that existed or was owned in any of the 50 states. Check out today’s transcript for the rest…

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – Let me be clear. I am not a proponent of and I think it’s heinous that the State of Maryland would ban or try to interfere with its citizens protecting themselves outside of their homes by carrying their weapons with them. Here in Louisiana, your automobile is an extension of your home. If you want to bring your weapon with you and you’re carrying it in your car, you’re basically carrying it in what amounts to an extension of your home. That’s not what happened in Maryland.
