Into the Nexus: What Do We Need With An Internet Sales Tax?

Contains Exclusive: Audio, Video Topics: , , , , ,

Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Video and Audio - Many people would like to know HOW they're going to get us to submit to the internet sales tax... enter the Nexus. Nexus is a Supreme Court decision from 1992 that says that if a business isn't located within it's borders it still has a presence within that state. For instance, Chili's corporate headquarters is in Texas, but there are chains all over the nation. So obviously the chains in Texas are under Texas state tax law, but wha….Continue

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – What are we in such a hurry for? Slow down. Now we’ve got to be in a hurry to get charges filed against the surviving perp, get him to court, get him tried, and in some people’s estimation, like Ted Nugent, bring him out to the public square. I guess for the anniversary, this would be a great spectacle. Or next year’s Boston Marathon, before the festivities begin, they can build a festive-looking gallows there. If we can g….Continue

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – If you’re to denounce your theological heritage, what are you to replace it with, what the cool kids with the pumped-up kicks say is theological heritage today? Is it theological at all? Most of them probably think we need no theology. “What’s God? What do we need that for? I can’t like God on Facebook. I can’t follow Jesus on Twitter. Do We Need A Union When We Have The State?

Contains Exclusive: Transcript Topics: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – The way I read history and the way it used to be read all the way up until, I don’t know, maybe 1971 or so, to the “modern era,” the Supreme Court was convened and existed because of Article III in the U.S. Constitution. I know it’s old and antiquated, fuddy-duddy, and we don’t use it anymore. It’s dead and doesn’t mean what it once was. People in 1788 couldn’t have possibly known that….Continue

The Modern Interpretation of the 14th Amendment is Not the Correct One

Contains Exclusive: Audio, Video Topics: , , , , , ,

Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Video and Audio - The lawyers for the Defense of Marriage Act are going to quote the 14th Amendment, but how has it been (mis)interpreted over the last 60-70 years is what they will be discussing instead of the original intent of the Amendment. Even the Supreme Court Justices are getting it wrong too, cases are being brought up where the 14th Amendment has been misconstrued but no one seems to notice. Of course, there's the question of whether the 14….Continue

Organized Religion Isn't Dying, Government Is Now Religion

Contains Exclusive: Transcript Topics: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – Because organized religion still exists today. It’s called government. It’s called State Legislature of Louisiana. It is called Congress. It’s called the Senate. Most people treat the Supreme Court as if it is a deity, as if it has god-like powers. Not only does it have them, it ought to discharge them, ought to use them. That is unbelievably wicked and scary, investing that kind of authority in nine unelected men and wo….Continue

Maryland's Second Amendment Battle

Contains Exclusive: Transcript Topics: , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – Let me be clear. I am not a proponent of and I think it’s heinous that the State of Maryland would ban or try to interfere with its citizens protecting themselves outside of their homes by carrying their weapons with them. Here in Louisiana, your automobile is an extension of your home. If you want to bring your weapon with you and you’re carrying it in your car, you’re basically carrying it in ….Continue

Kevin Gutzman on Supreme Court and Defense of Marriage Act

Contains Exclusive: Audio, Video Topics: , , , , ,

Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Video and Audio - If the high court of the United States gets out of hand by dictating what should and shouldn't be marriage (among numerous other things they've done), is there anything the Congress can do? Yes. The Congress can impeach them. According to Kevin Gutzman most people simply think of this as removing criminals from the Executive Branch, but it can be used in this case as well. Kevin also discusses how the Supreme Court, who is appointe….Continue

Louisiana, Incorporation, And States' Rights

Contains Exclusive: Transcript Topics: , , , , , , , , , ,

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – Because a court makes a decision that alters or purports to alter foundational law, which the Constitution is, does not make it right. What they’ve basically done is amend the First Amendment. In the McDonald case, they amended the Second Amendment. In other cases, they amended Amendments Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven and Eight as well. They don’t have the authority to do that. Check out today….Continue

I’m sure you saw that yesterday the Oklahoma House voted by a vote of 72-20, pretty overwhelming, to nullify Obamacare. Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Transcript - Isn’t it quite amazing, ladies and gentlemen, this is the year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Anno Domini 2013, and we are about to see a quasi-war fought between two sovereign states over the oldest and probably most reliable source of marshal affairs: natural resources. One state or country has it and another country doesn’t and needs it. This is as old as the Philistines. This is as old as th….Continue

Was Secession A Constitutional Right? 1868 Book Concluded It Was. "It was in 1833, for the frst time in the history of the country, that it was solemnly asserted and argued, that the Constitution of the 'United States was not a compact between the States. This new doctrine simultaneously put forth, by Mr. Justice Story in his "Commentaries on the Constitution of the 'United States," and by Mr. Daniel Webster in "the greatest intellectual effort of his life," that is, in his great speech in the Senate of the I6th of February, 1833. In order to show that the Constitution is not a compact between the States, the position is assumed, that it is not a compact at all. If it be a compact, say they, then the States had a right to secede. But it is not a compact; and hence secession is treason and rebellion. The great fundamental questions, then, on which the whole controversy hinges are, first, Is the Constitution a compact? and, secondly, Is it a compact between the States?" - Albert Bledsoe, Was Secession A Constitutional Right (1868)
