Now It's All About The Terminology Instead Of The Issues

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – Can I just tell you that I’ve read a couple million words text from the 18th and 19th and early part of the 20th century, and I can find no argument, no semantical argument over the use of terminology anywhere in the historical record? It just isn’t there. This is a modern fabrication of our own narcissism and our own elevated, evolved status, because we are so much higher, such a higher form of being. Check out today’s tran….Continue

Government Spending - Most Americans Don't Understand Simple Math

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – There’s a survey out there that people actually believe, if you can hold this thought in your mind, that if spending on individual programs is increased, that that will then result in a decrease in overall spending. I am not teasing. I couldn’t make this up if I tried. Check out today’s transcript for the rest…….Continue

Will 2013 Be the End of Federalism?

Contains Exclusive: Transcript Topics: , , , , , , ,

Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Audio and Transcript - These are scary times, ladies and gentlemen. We can sit here and discuss these things all we want. We may be overreaching. We may be being a bit hyperbolic. I think the fact that there’s actually a discussion going on that’s going to inexorably affect the lives and fortunes of over 300 million people, and less than 200 people are involved in a decision, that tells me everything I need to kn….Continue

Bombshell: Fox News Tried to Convince Petraeus to Run for President

Contains Exclusive: Audio, Video Topics: , , , , ,

Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Video and Audio - Any kind of integrity that Fox News had before this story is gone, the supposed "Fair and Balanced" is completely out the window... Fox News, specifically Roger Ailes, tried to enlist General Petraeus as a presidential candidate in Spring of 2011. There's even an audio recording of the conversation between Fox News analyst K.T. McFarland and General Petraeus where he says he has not interest in running for President and that Rupert ….Continue

Was Secession A Constitutional Right? 1868 Book Concluded It Was. "It was in 1833, for the frst time in the history of the country, that it was solemnly asserted and argued, that the Constitution of the 'United States was not a compact between the States. This new doctrine simultaneously put forth, by Mr. Justice Story in his "Commentaries on the Constitution of the 'United States," and by Mr. Daniel Webster in "the greatest intellectual effort of his life," that is, in his great speech in the Senate of the I6th of February, 1833. In order to show that the Constitution is not a compact between the States, the position is assumed, that it is not a compact at all. If it be a compact, say they, then the States had a right to secede. But it is not a compact; and hence secession is treason and rebellion. The great fundamental questions, then, on which the whole controversy hinges are, first, Is the Constitution a compact? and, secondly, Is it a compact between the States?" - Albert Bledsoe, Was Secession A Constitutional Right (1868)
