Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Transcript - Many people had the greatest intentions and look how it all turned out. Then the problem becomes that people will not admit, government is not allowed and will not admit its own failings. It just hasn’t plowed enough money in it, hasn’t tried hard enough. Now it seems like we’re stuck always looking for, always expecting the worst and the bad. That’s no way to go through life, man. That’s no way to even be a hopeful people. We have to search for beauty every hour of every day, it is beauty that brings God's pleasure into our lives.

Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Video and Audio - Things were a little different when Thomas Jefferson became president of the United States... there was no motorcade with limos, no 10-inch thick bulletproof glass, no Beyoncé singing the national anthem, not even any microphones. But what TJ's inauguration did have was the spirit of Independence and Liberty. Jefferson walked right up to the Capitol building dressed as "a plain citizen without any distinctive badge of office" and delivered his 1721 word speech to the Senate Chamber despite being a poor public speaker. It was also important because Jefferson felt he had to undo some of the harm he felt the Washington and Adams administration had done by over-reaching their power as President. Learn more about Jefferson's inauguration in today's Founders TV, if you don't have a Founders Pass, sign up for one right here!

Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Transcript - We were told on November 7th or 8th when these petitions first hit the WhiteHouse.gov website, that these were just temper tantrums from sore losers who would move on. The White House posted the little response that these people would move on, that the knuckle-dragging Neanderthals that had asked about secession would crawl back in their caves and we’d nevermore hear about this silliness because we all know that Lincoln settled this back in 1865. We all know that we’re all prisoners here and we can never escape North America Island. We’re all one joined at the hip. Because we’ve all paid into Social Security, none of us can ever get out. Mandeville, LA - By Mike Church - When the White House responded to Michael E.'s "Peaceful Secession from Union" petition they quoted Lincoln as the historian of record for the view that "there is no right to walk away" [from the Union]. That's a historically ignorant statement seeing as how abolitionist Yankee Senators and citizens alike who ultimately would call Southerners "traitors", agitated for and promoted "secession as a duty" as late as 1861.

Mandeville, LA - Exclusive Audio and Transcript - Can you imagine a scenario that President Obama wakes up one morning and goes down to his briefing and he’s in there with Axelrod and that troll Valerie Jarrett and the rest of them? “What’s this new petition that we can’t go over the debt ceiling?” Axelrod whips out your petition and they read it and they go: “That’s funny! That’s a good one! Is there another one? Can we hear it again?” Not to undermine the effort, but that’s like if you get a bill from the IRS and call them up. You say: Look, I took a petition in my neighborhood and we all agree that I shouldn’t have to pay this. You think that will work? Check out the rest in today's audio and transcript...
