Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – Of course, with our scientific acumen and achievement, there is no mystery left, or we don’t think there’s any mystery.  We certainly don’t believe that there is any external force above us that’s controlling any of this, which explains why you have the total lack — watching the celebrations that are going on today and having listened to it all day yesterday as it was about to happen has to be one of the most baffling exercises a human being ever in the history of Earth could ever have witnessed.  Check out today’s transcript for the rest…

Mike:  Hello, Lonnie, how you doing?

Caller Lonnie:  I am doing just wonderful this morning, Mike.  Our government is doing such a whale of a job for us, ain’t they?

Mike:  Marvelous job.

james-madison-gutzman-ad-signCaller Lonnie:  I’ve seen this coming since Obama was voted in the first time.  I swore no way he’d make the second one but he did.  I hope the people wake up and actually see what’s going on and quit believing everything that runs out of Washington.

Mike:  Lonnie, like I used to tell people back in the day when I first got religion and got off the party bandwagons, which I am now even more committed to doing, if you’re waiting for the people to wake up, let me ask you a question.  Do you think the people of ancient Rome ever woke up?

Caller Lonnie:  No, not really.

Mike:  Don’t wait for things that are not going to happen is my advice.  Let me just counsel you there.

Caller Lonnie:  We keep hoping and praying that it’ll get turned around from giving this president leaps and bounds of control over all of us.  It seems like there’s no end in it.  It makes a person wonder.

Mike:  No, there’s an end.  It may not be an end that you can see in your lifetime, but there’s an end.

Caller Lonnie:  It’s coming.  Sometimes you wonder.  We’re not supposed to question God’s rules or nothing, but he instincted it into us, so we still ask questions and wonder why.

Mike:  The asking question part and wondering, this is part of what used to be called awe, what used to be called the mystery of life.  Of course, with our scientific acumen and achievement, there is no mystery left, or we don’t think there’s any mystery. What was being celebrated — let me put this again.  I tried this in the first hour.  I must have failed miserably, so let me try it again.

What is being celebrated and what was being anticipated to be celebrated is planning to spend today and through the rest of this fiscal year the future earnings of our posterity, without even batting an eye, tipping a hat, without thinking for one solitary moment that it’s an immoral activity that a moral and a good people or a good society would ever engage in.  Not only are we going to do it, but we’re going to throw parties and do it in excess.  We’re going to do it with great fanfare.  We’re going to smile the whole time and act as though we’re doing the proper thing and that there is no other way, that there is no other way to do it.  To say that this society, hell this world, has lost its moral compass is the understatement of the last three millennia.  To say that you’ve lost your way, that doesn’t even rise to the challenge.  That doesn’t rise to the level of the moral atrocity that’s being committed right in front of our very eyes.

Patrick_Henry_American_Statesman_paperback_cover_DETAILTo be clear, this atrocity has been going on for quite some time.  I’m not really breaking any news.  There always remains the hope that people are going to en masse come to a realization or a point where they will desire to or see that they need to stop the atrocities.  Stop beating the defenseless woman.  In this instance, stop flogging the defenseless child.  But such is not the case.  Instead, we’re going to congratulate ourselves.  We’re going to see people that were instrumental in pulling this whole thing off congratulate themselves.  The winners who come out of this are, by and large, people that are going to remain elite.  The elite will continue spending in excess of what their means will allow.  They’re doing it all right out in the wide open.  None of this is disguised.  There’s no conspiracy afoot here.  This is being done in the broad light of day.  your average American sherson has totally, not partly but totally, lost the capacity to even recognize the crime that is happening right now, today.  It seems to matter not.  We’re so self-important and so assured and so sure of our own importance that it doesn’t matter what anyone else will think about this or the effect it may have on anyone in the future.  That just does not matter.  It doesn’t factor in because, after all, we are we.  That’s what’s really important, folks.  That’s what’s really important.

There’s not a lot of good in that.  The good is out there.  There is always some good, but the good is certainly not ubiquitous.  That’s the sad part of it.  When you see somebody smiling today and glad-handing themselves or being snickety and smarmy [mocking] “You Tea Party bastards got what you deserved.”  To say that Tea Partiers got what they deserved, which you’re going to hear an awful lot today, that’s not the proper way to look at this.  Grandchildren of Tea Partiers and all the rest of you are going to get what you deserve, which apparently is to be born with $150,000 worth of debt on your head.

Before you take your first breath, here’s a bill.  [mocking] “What’s this for?  I just came out of my mother!  What are you handing me here?”  “That’s your I.O.U.  Your grandparents spent that.  They had a really good time.  They had some really nice parties, bought a third car, and they were a pretty happy lot.  They thank you very much.  We may have to ask you to go to work a little younger than your parents did.  We may have to get you out into the fields of tax production after your tenth birthday.  But fear not, we do have universal healthcare.  It’s only available to half the population.  Maybe you’ll qualify.  We’ll let you know about that.  Hope you don’t need that incubator too long, because your mother only got it for an hour.  Thank you very much.  The tax collector will see you soon.”
