(Audio) Mandeville, LA – Welcome to yet another Free Phone Friday,in fact the last of the Free Phone Friday’s for the year of 2010.KingDude’s got his Hawaiian shirt on and is well prepped for one lastpotential DudeMaker Hotline caller to make a bit of a stir. Chris fromTexas doesn’t exactly stir the airwaves, but he succeeds at bringing upa great point in the form of a question.

Chris proposes: Why isit so important that we repeal the 17th Amendment and how would we goabout repealing the 17th Amendment. Now, we could take up the blankspace and time here to write out the KingDude’s sensical answer, butthat would take the audio fun out of it for you, and it would require alot of typing on this end. Turn up the speakers or don your headphones- let’s repeal the 17th Amendment while we hold hands and song the Cokesong!

OK: Article 5 of the Constitution clearly states that “no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate”. This means that the 17th Amendment is nonbinding and that any state at any time can withdraw their consent and seat their selected senators. Put it another way; this means that the 17th non-amendment stands at the discretion of the states and can be repudiated at any time they so chose, by one or by all.

I can’t even begin to express how vitally important it is for this to pushed into the minds of the states’ legislators because this is the key to saving our Republic from the totalitarian fascist cesspool that awaits us all if we fail.

Please, contact Judge Andrew P. Napolitano, he will confirm everything I just stated, we really need to push this.
