If It Bleeds, It Leads…And If It Ain’t Bleeding, Mainstream Media Will Slice And Dice ‘Til It Does

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – I don’t think you can do enough justice to the phrase “if it bleeds, it leads.”  I also don’t think you can do enough justice to the disapprobation you should hurl the way of the broadcast fabled news networks that rushed to judgment during the horrific shooting Tuesday in the naval yard.  Folks, they are just drawn to death.  They are drawn to destruction.  Check out today’s transcript for the rest…

Mike:  I don’t think you can do enough justice to the phrase “if it bleeds, it leads.”  I also don’t think you can do enough justice to the disapprobation you should hurl the way of the broadcast fabled news networks that rushed to judgment during the horrific shooting Tuesday in the naval yard.  Folks, they are just drawn to death.  They are drawn to destruction.  Witness please the infatuation and obsession with the people who are losing their homes, who are watching their roads being washed away in those two counties in Colorado.

Do you really think that most of — I’m not going to say all — do you really think that most of the television correspondents, do you really think that they give a rat’s hoo-hoo-dilly about those people in Colorado or are they just there to show the rest of the world the mayhem?  [mocking] “Look at that!  There used to be a road here where this woman’s house is.”  Yeah, well that woman’s gotta live there, you don’t.  That woman and man are going to have to rebuild that man and you don’t.  You know what I’m waiting for?  I’m waiting for some nature Nazi goon to descend onto the airwaves and claim this is the result of catastrophic global warming.  They probably have already done it; I just haven’t seen it.  The aftermath of these things almost always devolves into [mocking] “Somebody has to be at fault.  It can’t be God’s doing.

That’s another one of these things that we can look at and you can see the removal of the transcendent from our lives, that is in acts of nature that are calamities.  It just can’t be that the planet is not under our control.  It just can’t be that there is a transcendent, all-knowing, all-seeing, omnipotent and benevolent and loving God that’s in charge of all this.  It just can’t be that there is the fallen from God’s midst — we know him as Satan, whatever you choose to call him — that is the tempter of man.  Satan can’t actually make you do anything.  He can tempt you.  God already knows what you are supposed to do and the plan is laid out.  Satan can tempt you into altering the course.  This is what our faith teaches and instructs us.  Why can’t we just accept sometimes that the Earth is the Earth and it’s going to do what it is going to do and you can’t stop it?

This is one of these other instances where people are so shocked.  We can’t believe there’s a flood in the middle of Colorado.  How could this happen?  God.  I live close enough to bodies of water, I’m not naïve enough to think that even though I’m 23 feet above that water level that a naturally-occurring event could not find water inside the Church household in Madisonville, Louisiana.  I am fully aware of that.  I would suspect that sometime over the course of the next 100 years, if the house remains there and a large enough hurricane makes its way back into southeast Louisiana, like Katrina, and if the conditions are correct and the wind is coming from the right direction, the body of water known as Lake Pontchartrain could be the culprit in that.  It would take a storm of biblical proportions, I think.  It is not beyond comprehension.

republican-shirt-ifyouhavetoask1People’s first reaction is we’ve got to blame somebody, [mocking] “They didn’t construct the levies the right way.  They didn’t do this; they didn’t do that.”  You’re altering and messing with the omnipotent creation of the omnipotent being.  Only he can control all these events.  We fool ourselves and trick ourselves into thinking we can.  We can’t, we can’t.  We are just existing in the natural plane with the rest of the plant and animal life.  The only difference between us and them is that we have had souls conferred on us and we have the ability to think and pursue perfection.  You’re never going to attain it, but you can pursue it.  Remember, only God is perfect.

I’m just amazed at the obsession of the coverage of the death and calamity that is what’s going on in Colorado right now.  Then we have the story of covering and being the first to rush to the scene to report on the death that was tragically meted out in the naval shipyard.  Why the obsession to dwell on and then obsess over and then micromanage and microanalyze?  Now the media has created their own story because they blew the story.  Now CNN and company gets to cover their own malfeasance.  I have to wonder, when we do things around here, we try to run them through a process to certify or with a certain degree of confidence be able to say we believe this is actually the news, the way it happened.  Who is in charge of continuity at the Clinton News Network that allows this story to get out?  I guess the vice president gets the same story, that an AR-15 was used in the shooting.  Could it be that the people in the newsroom wanted an AR-15 to have been responsible for the shooting?

Let me see if I understand your macabre, sick, twisted way of thinking.  It’s not tragic that all these lives are lost.  What’s tragic is that an AR-15, a specific, inorganic device was used to perpetrate the crime.  That’s what’s important, not that a human life is done, not that a father, a daughter, a mother, a son, an uncle, a grandfather, a niece, a best friend, or a wife or husband is gone.  No, what’s really tragic here is that they used a gun to do it.  They used that gun we’ve been trying to ban.  Life would be all good and un-gunly like if we didn’t have AR-15s around.  Really?  There are 275 million-plus firearms in North America owned by citizens of these United States.  You’re not going to get them back.  As a matter of fact, let me just promise to you, you’re not getting them back.  Yet the news nets were so desperate to get in there and so desperate to weigh in on this [mocking] “It’s Sandy Hook all over again.  We knew it.  We knew it!  If we don’t get this gun ban, we’re all dead.”

Maybe if our vaunted federal government — is it lost on anyone else?  Someone is going to have to make this news story, to point out that Aaron Alexis was a contractor but he had been employed by the federal leviathan.  He had been conferred a security clearance by the federal leviathan.  He was able to get his gun onto federal property.  We have all this vainglorious spyfare state.  We have all this monitoring of all your communications and my communications as we’re talking about going to Quaker Steak and Lube on Friday night, the NSA says [mocking] “You see where they’re going?  You see where they’re going?”  We have acts of terrorism happening right under our noses and people don’t want to blame?

Who you ought to be blaming is not the manufacturer of the shotgun or the AR-15.  What about the employer there?  Isn’t the employer supposed to provide a safe workplace?  Who’s the employer?  Who owns the shipyard?  Yeah, but we can’t blame the government.  Why not?  They blame you.  Don’t you think that Chris Cuomo and Kate Baldwin and Chris Matthews and the rest of them would blame you if your workplace was unsafe, if you knew this guy was a crackpot and you let him into your building?  Damn skippy you’d get blamed.  Not only will you get blamed, what if you sold him weapons?  We now know where the shotgun was purchased.  This is valuable information.  There’s no one that lives around where that gun shop is that knew they sold guns.  Oh, but the fabled news network media, they’re going to get to the bottom of this.  Here’s the story.

[reading]

It has been called the most popular rifle in America, and it briefly returned to the spotlight after Monday’s shooting at the Navy Yard: the AR-15.

A U.S. law enforcement official said Monday that gunman Aaron Alexis unleashed a barrage of bullets using an AR-15, a rifle and a semi-automatic handgun. Authorities believed the AR-15 was used for most of the shooting, the official said. The news prompted Sen. Dianne Feinstein, one of the strongest proponents of a ban on assault weapons like the AR-15, to issue a statement the same day asking, “When will enough be enough?”

However, federal law enforcement sources told CNN Tuesday that authorities have recovered three weapons from the scene of the mass shooting, including one — a shotgun — that investigators believe Alexis brought in to the compound. The other two weapons, which sources say were handguns, may have been taken from guards at the Navy complex. [Mike: We can’t have guards running around with weapons anymore. They’re a threat to humanity, aren’t they?]

The sources, who have detailed knowledge of the investigation, cautioned that initial information that an AR-15 was used in the shootings may have been incorrect.

[end reading]

Mike:  An official with the federal government being incorrect?  Surely you jest.  That’s never happened ever before, has it?  Is the fabled news media really out to report the news or are they out to report and gainsay what is to their benefit?  Who would benefit most from a reignited debate over gun control, a reignited debate over a particular weapon?  It would be our buddies in the broadcast media who would be all over this.  They’d dispatch Kate Baldwin and Chris Cuomo to be live in front of the Springfield Armory, or wherever the AR-15 is made.  I don’t know where it’s made, by the bye.  I just threw Springfield Armory out.  Please do not send me hate mail.

I do not know where the gun is made, but I bet they’ll be camped out in front of there wanting to speak to the CEO, [mocking] “Do you know you make weapons of death?”  Of course, they’ll never gather out in front of the place that makes the tools that are used to extract babies’ bodies whole cloth out of their mother’s wombs.  So we’re all concerned about death, mayhem and destruction, but we’re not concerned about the death, mayhem and destruction of yet-to-be-born American citizens.  The fabled news networks are all over this stuff.  Folks, is it really news?  People may wonder from time to time [mocking] “Why do you spend so much time reading the 18th and 19th century stuff?”  Because I have a reasonable expectation that it’s not an assembled pack of lies.  It’s called history.
