Austrian Consensus: The Economic Ice Age Cometh
2011 Mike Church
Hi folks its Mike Church with todays Church Doctrine
I can remember just a few years ago that the productive people of the United States faced a green menace which came in the form of a so called consensus view on global warming. This view held that evil, despicable men had generated quadrillions of unacceptable tons of Co2 which was now clogging up the atmosphere and setting min gas fires ablaze in the clouds, ergo: causing catastrophic global warming.

The media cheerleaders for this insisted on promoting the consensus replete with all the high priests of ecological salvation from CFL light bulbs to green appliances to composting our own waste the priests evangelized that a failure to adopt the faith would result in certain death at the hands of AlGores Gods. This human hating love fest came crashing down when it was discovered that the temperature records had been altered to generate the desired hysteria. Today, the Church of Gore bulbs is relegated to filler pieces on OMSNBC and CNN but nature abhors a vacuum so we now have a new consensus God to pray to: the economic recovery that is allegedly under way.

There is a consensus here too with almost every economist agreeing that the recovery is picking up steam. Apparently the consensus authors never bothered to consult the underlying data or Austrian economists who continue to predict this economic house of card’s days are numbered. When this crash occurs, and it will, we will face another catastrophic climate change: an economic Ice Age.
