Mike:  Hello, John, how you doing?

Caller John:  It’s interesting that you mention critical thinking skills because this is what the government is promoting and has been for centuries, disco sheep.  You can’t have critical analytic thinking skills and be a disco sheep, dependent, ignorant, stupid, compliant, obedient, which is what our education system is also teaching.  They produce robots.  On the Benghazi thing, just recently I heard, of all people Lindsey Graham.

I go one way or the other with him depending on which way he got out of the bed that day.  He had mentioned — and it’s so true.  I’ve been thinking this ever since Benghazi.  Benghazi, at that time, was the hottest spot, most dangerous location on the planet for US embassies.  The UN, the Red Cross had pulled out.  The ambassador, Chris Stevens, had requested, many times over, for more protection.

In fact, they pulled a special ops — I think it was a 15-man unit — out of the consulate there because, I believe, Secretary Clinton — she really seems to be just a file clerk.  She had believed, as her cohort Barack Hussein Obama had believed, that we want everything to look just right, just perfect, when in fact it couldn’t have been further from the truth.  Nothing was right.  Chris Stevens had mentioned so many times over and over and over again: I think something’s happening here.  He sent emails to his parents.  He sent emails to the secretary of state.  Who knows where these emails ended up?  It’s all on record that he was afraid that something was happening.  He loved those people.  He’d walk unarmed among the people every day.  He’d seen the security forces, the Libyan security forces, taking notes, taking photographs, people across the street on rooftops taking photographs.  He knew something was coming down.

Number one, Lindsey Graham had said, about a week ago on Fox, he had mentioned that the US consulate there had been attacked a couple times already.  That’s not really true.  I think the total was about twelve times the embassy had been attacked.  If the UN and Red Cross pulled out, what were we doing there?  It was all part of the narrative that Obama had put out in his campaign address, what’s-his-face is dead and Al-Qaeda is on the run and GM is alive.  It’s all a lie.  Bin Laden, he’s not dead; he’s alive in spirit, alive and well just like Jesus Christ who lives in the hearts of men who truly love him.  I really, truly believe that not only the families have the right to know the truth, but also each and every prior and current service member and the American people have the right to know the truth, how it is that we have a president who could lead from behind, not only in national affairs but in foreign affairs, how he can lead from behind, leave our vets in the hospitals, our soldiers on the field, how he can just do this to us.  If I was a current service member — I had six years and that was enough.  If I was a member of the US Armed Forces, I would be deathly afraid that it’s going to happen again and I’m going to be left to be murdered by the terrorists whom we don’t even fully acknowledge.  It’s just a disaster.

Caller John:  Yes.

Mike:  So to say that there’s nothing going on here —

Caller John:  There’s nothing here.

Mike:  All right.  Well, John, it sounds to me like the truth of Benghazi must be out because you seem to know all about it, sir.  I just got a dissertation via Fox News and Lindsey Graham.  Right, Eric?  That was an education.

Eric:  Everything was falling into place.

Mike:  I didn’t know the embassy was attacked a dozen times, two dozen times.  Let’s make it three.  Now it sounds really — you know, again, none of this ever happens.  None of this ever happens if the president is told, forcefully by the speaker of the house: Don’t do it.  The speaker of the house did when he had no intention of following up, none, zero.  If he did, he would have followed up.  After he sent the letter to Obama saying: You don’t have the authority to launch military incursions.  Then he went and launched some military incursion.  This is the fatal original sin.  I guarantee you that — God bless you, John.  People like John would be going to bat right now swinging the Louisville Slugger for Mitt Romney if the exact same thing had happened, [mocking] “Because he acted.  He didn’t lead from behind.”  Well, Obama is not leading from behind when he’s bombing Muammar Gaddafi into Allah’s hands.  This is an act of war.  Last I checked, Libya is a country.  It is a sovereign country.  We have no declaration of war against the country of Libya, yet what did we do?  We went in there, used our military, used CIA on the ground, and assassinated the man.  Then we have the audacity to say, [mocking] “We’re leading from behind.  We’re not doing anything.”  What’s left to do?  What part of the freaking world don’t you people want to run?  My heavens!

There are 309 million of us.  I think if we spread ourselves a little thin, forget trying to fix our manufacturing and all that.  We obviously have no interest in that.  We obviously have no interest in doing most of the things that a civilized, peaceful society would do to survive.  Why don’t we just leave here and go colonize the rest of the world for us?  We’ve got enough armaments.  We’ve got enough ABC carriers.  We have enough air cover.  We’ll have the Air Force support us.  Just start picking countries.  Where do you want to live?  Where do you people that dream about American global domination, what part of Earth would you like to live on where the rightful owners can just be, like in the movie Blazing Saddles, where we just kick them out.  There’s one thing that stands between us and being able to life in Scotland: the Scottish people.  Pick a country.  It might be a country that’s full of snakes, might be one that’s free of snakes.  Wherever it may be, you might like where the passion fruit is grown.  You know, I think that country is in need for some Americans.  We’re going to lead from in front, because the rest of the world must follow us.

I said I wasn’t going to read the rest of Brownson, that I would go to the phones.  I should have read the rest of Brownson because that gentleman would have benefitted from hearing the call to be a progressive humanitarian is now ubiquitous.  It sounds like: No, we’re followers of our Lord.  Our Lord would not instruct you people to maraud around the planet and kill anyone that gets in your way, or to conspire to kill anyone that gets in your way.  You know, it used to be, I believe, taught at West Point some form of Christian just war theory.  Apparently we have totally jettisoned that from our popular education and discourse.
