You might recall that back in June of 2010 Louisiana passed the “Health Care Freedom Act” adding our name to 20 other state legislatures to pass similar measures. Our law in part says “no citizen… shall be required to obtain or maintain a policy of individual health insurance coverage.” meaning the ACA’s must have insurance rule should not be in effect.

But what about the rest of 2,600 headed Kracken known as ObamaCare? It’s the brainchild of Senator Mary Landrieu and company that every insurance policy must be comprised of at least 10 coverages, almost half of which single males and the elderly will never need such as “maternity and newborn care… and pediatric services.” “No matter!” shriek the do-gooders who designed and now must defend this “repair” of our “broken system”. “If you like your gumbo you can keep it” may be true but I wonder if Obama told Landrieu that if she liked her office in Washington, she could keep it?
