About the Author:
The Rev. Father Martin of Cochem, O.S.F.C., was a German Capuchin born in 1630 at Mosel. He entered the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin as a novitiate while still young, subsequently received Holy Orders, and was ultimately assigned as a professor of theology. He also cared for the plague victims of 1666, and thereupon began composing popular religious writings and treatises. Father Cochem authored such works as The Last Four Things and The Incredible Catholic Mass, the former of which was printed by TAN Books in 1987. He died on the tenth of September, 1712, at Waghausel.
Reviews:
Beautifully tells the Gift of Jesus Christ in the Holy Mass Review by Crazedvet71

In the publishers preface you state that although the book is written about the Traditional Latin Rite Mass, it is for all masses regardless of the Rite.
I have to strenuously disagree. The Latin Rite is the most beautiful service any Catholic could attend. Sacred, prayed in Latin (so wherever any Catholic goes), the Mass can be easily followed with any Daily Missal published before Vatican II, a Missal that has remained faithful since 1955. One truly feels the presence of God. I have not witnessed in the years since Vatican II the same reverance. Communion in the hand (told to us by our Saints, Popes, and Church Councils to be a Mortal Sin), that only CONSECRATED HANDS may touch the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. I may be incorrect, but I cannot see how it could apply to today’s mass.

This is an incredible book… Review by Author Ever Ancient, Ever New Traditional Latin Mass Compendium…

I came across when researching for my own book on the Traditional Latin Mass. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is one book the devil would prefer that Catholics not read! Cochem points out how the mysteries of Christ’s earthly life are presented once more in the ceremonies of Holy Mass. The Mystical Calvary is brought before our eyes, and with the eyes of faith, one can actually participate in the events of His life, especially in His redemption Sacrifice of the Cross through which flow infinite merits.

This is a must for every Catholic to read and … Review by trueR
