Mandeville, LA – Don’t Stop, Repealin‘ – I have been reading the plain text of the XXIst Amendment, on-air, nearly every single day since talk of “repeal and replace” (of ObamaCare) began this February. In each instance I read the plain text of the XXI Amendment, it’s beautiful simplicity and then altered the text to apply to the ACA; simple right? Get an up or down vote on the repeal of the most destructive legislative act of the 21st century. But Paul Ryan and the DeceptiCON Caucus in Congress insisted that ObamaCare was too big to be repealed in such a simple mann er, why, its got like legislate-y things attached to it, you can’t just repeal it, they wailed. Well, yes, you can and now comes Rep. Mo Brooks with what we could call The Church Amendment: a one sentence repeal of ObamaCare! “Effective as of Dec. 31, 2017, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is repealed, and the provisions of law amended or repealed by such Act are restored or revived as if such Act had not been enacted.” Bamm!
