This is my world famous Cheese-Garlic-n-Pepper Grits & breakfast medley! Remember, we preach FRESH AND LOCAL on this show, all ingredients are local except the grits!
Serves 4
1 cup grits (NO instant grits!!)
2 Cups water (The KingDude’s Tip: grits are ALWAYS measured 4-1 to water!)
1 Red Chili pepper (The KingDude’s Tip: substitute 1 tblsp red pepper flakes)
4 Tblsp butter
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1 Tblsp minced garlic
1Tblsp fresh Italian parsley, chopped fine
1 tsp Salt & 1 tsp Fresh Cracked Black Pepper or (The KingDude’s Tip: 1 Tblsp Tony Chacherie Seasoning mix, because it’s TONY’S, duh!!)
Follow the slide show below for instructions, ‘membah that grits must come to a boil and then on reduced heat simmer at LEAST 5 minutes before adding cheese! Bon appetit, y’al!
